Paint Me In Your Sunshine Lyrics

Paint me in your sunshine
And wake my sleepy eyes
Wrap me in your comfort
Stay with me for all of time

Reach your hand, I'll follow
Darken clouds for your rays of hope

So paint me in your sunshine
Walk by me, stay right by my side
Fill my head with stories
Full of love and war and glory

Reach your hand, I'll follow
Light the path that will lead me home

Oh, oh, home

One day the world will grow colder
Everything we've come to cherish will crumble
And only then will we turn back
And remember your glow

Paint me in your sunshine
Leave the part of you behind
Tell me where I'll find you
And send me off to another day
Till we meet tomorrow

Reach your hand,
I'll follow
Hold me close till the day that I grow old

Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Mm, Hmm, Hmm, Hmm

I can't believe there's only one comment on this song. It's amazing. I think it's about a girl wanting to be a big part of a boy's life. She wants to be painted into his sunshine, or in other words, his brightest, happiest, most cherished thing. They'll always have eachother as eachother's sunshine, that's what the "one day the world will grow colder" verse means. Just my take on it =)

Oh wow. I have this song on a playlist and kept it playing for three days straight. Man is this awesome! I've got that lyrics as the cover to my binder. Love the sweet, simple melody and the graceful way her voice glides right over everything. This song always make me feel safe and happy. I want this to be the song that I have my first dance to at my wedding.
