Through my heart
Through my heart
Through my heart
Through my heart

As I watched those buildings fall
Saw the writing on the wall
In the underground the prophets spoke of triggers for a war
They’d been leaking out a plan
A new world order, understand?
And I stood there feeling like someone had planned it years before
Years before
Years before

Eerie theory, fact or theory
I see the game they're playing way down town, open ground
Feeling like it's going to bring you down

Eerie theory, fact or theory
I see the game they're playing way down town, open ground
Feeling like it's going to bring us down

Through my heart
Through my heart
Through my heart
Through my heart

Lusitania had to go
Stage was set to start the show
And I heard the sound of Alice chasing rabbits down a hole
Gulf of Tonkin, Vietnam
Yes Franklin knew about Japan
And they're laughing as they use us all to build they’re Babylon

Eerie theory, fact or theory
I see the game they're playing way downtown, open ground
Feeling like it's going to bring you down

Eerie theory, fact or theory
I see the game they're playing way downtown, open ground
Feeling like it's going to bring you down

They use us, they use us all
Laughing as we fall
Laughing as we fall
Laughing as we fall
Laughing as

Killing our heroes

My home town's breaking down
But I'm holding out
All that's certain - I am still alive

My home town's breaking down
But I'm holding out
All that's certain - I am still alive

My home town's breaking down
But I'm holding out
All that's certain - I am still alive

People!
Stand out!
Stand out!
Alright!
Eeyay!

What's left when we look around?
What’s left when we’re looking,
the pot and the cook, the people, the violence, the more that you look around

(Do not follow if you can, When they lead us to violence)

What's left when we look around?
I stood back and observed the crowd
I saw voodoo and violence down to a science
Gurus and mind control
What's left when we look around?
I stood back and observed the crowd
I saw voodoo and violence down to a science
Gurus and mind control

My home town's breaking down
But I'm holding out
All that's certain - I am still alive

My home town's breaking down
But I'm holding out
All that's certain - I am still alive

(Babylon,
the movies on,
oh what a con,
King Solomon,
And Babylon is here again,
the movies on,
this neocon tapestry,
The sun and moon,
A pentagram monastery)

At the end of the day I know,
That we work all our lives to pay for a cage they own
It ain't no coincidence that the whole world is caught in an endless debt
At the end of the day I know
That we work all our lives to pay for a cage they own

The violence,
Illusion they're using to rule us, building their Babylon

    Song Meaning

Yes, almost this whole album is about the NWO (as well as all their albums/EP's having references. Think silence is violence for one). It really is about time the general population woke up. We have enough to give everyone on this planet food and shelter, despite what they say, and that's the only way for humans to go forward. If anyone wants to know what's really going on stop reading mainstream media and start searching further, even though it's starting to creep into mainstream media it will be manipulated as best they can (members of the Bilderberg group and even the Pope have stated it's 'now' time for a NWO on Fox news and large press papers..). Zeitgeist, loose change, Obama deception, War Made Easy and The World According to Monsanto (VERY important doco in regards to GMO's, Monsanto makes over 90% of GMO's and is working with Oxfam, Gates, Rockefeller etc in the takeover of Africa for natural resources) are starts. Michael Moore though I can see people thinking of him as a douche is spot on, Capitalism was again right. What the bleep do we know is an interesting doc too. The book creature from Jekyll Island covers the Bilderberg group, Shock Doctrine is another good read. There's plenty out there. Anyone with an open mind I suggest reading The Mayan Code by Barbara Hand Clow, it virtually explains all history and the important 'why'. Sites such as abovetopsecret, infowars, conspiracyplanet etc have plenty of info. For those who smoke marijuana (as I'm sure plenty of people who listen to Cog do :) ) check out the Docos The Union and Grass. Once you start putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together the bigger questions finally start making sense. Forget your religion, they're all fake and almost all the same, you the individual is creation and God, and once humans start to worship themselves for what is right the human race will move forward, if we do. Thank God for COG. I would actual go into points about these lyrics but it's pretty self explanatory I think.

The general idea of this song is about the NWO (New World Order) or just general government conspiracies.

'As I watched those buildings fall' could refer to 9/11

It's not Loose Satania, it's Lusitania a luxury cruise liner which was sunk during WW1. Apparently struck by a german torpedo but conpiracy theorists believe Churchill had something to do with it, some believe Lusitania sinking was the beginning of the NWO.

This song seems to have the same idea as the film zeitgeist. Great documentary about populations being controlled by religion and governments, false flag attacks taken by governments to take their country to war and the worlds spiral down into endless debt.

'mind control'... there are apparently ways of planting ideas/thoughts in peoples heads using electromagnetic radiation... but could also say that people are easily manipulated by the media anyway. 'planned this years before'... perhaps a reference to the georgia guidestones which were built 30 years ago. if you haven't heard of them look them up and read what's on the tablets.

the first verse talks about 9/11 and the twin towers coming down, in the eyes of many something that has been planned by years and not orchestrated by terrorists, rather it was a false flag attack to get america over to iraq into war where the corporations could fund both sides of the war blow the place up, get paid to rebuild it, control the oil and build the american empire. bring laws in to strip the american people and people around the world of their civil liberties

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
