[Verse 2 Alfa Mega]
F**k niggas might talk loud, act real
But they dont really want this here
Pussy niggas better act right, lay low
We know where yo' family live
Trust me you dont want me up in yo' crib
Wit' a ski mask on duct taping your kids
You can pray all you want
But I dont forgive
You shouldnt have been doin nuthin
But ya did what ya did
I aint gotta spell it out, pimp, you know what it is
I'll rest ya case to ya real
Man you know what it is
Plus I got a hundred goons wit' me
Dressed in black
Fifty at the front door, fifty at the back
Half got 'Ks, half got macs

Bring em out, bring em out
Show me where they at
We can do 'em right here
We can catch 'em in a trap
Run up on his 'lac put a hole in his hat
Put his brains on the dash and his thoughts in his lap
And dump fifty more in him and tell him to hold that
Lights out, no hasta manana, hasta la vista, sara nara, y tu
No tomorrow, no remorse, and no sorrow
And the next one of y'all niggas try me like that
I swear to god, man
I'm really gonna snap

[Chrous]
Aint a damn thang change
I still keep that thang
Right up under my shirt
Better tell them I aint playin
Because its all fun and games
Until somebody get hurt

Aint a damn thang change
I still keep that thang
Right up under my shirt
When I pull away hang and bang
Cause it all fun and games
Until somebody get hurt

You finna get hurt, murked, put 'em in the dirt
Boy you betta catch me first
You finna get hurt, murked, put 'em in the dirt
Boy you betta catch me first
You finna get hurt, murked, put 'em in the dirt
Boy you betta catch me first
You finna get hurt, murked, put 'em in the dirt
Boy you betta catch me first

[Verse 3 Busta Rhymes]
Right now I'mma give ya somethin' and make a nigga beg please
When a bullet whiz by
Probably feel a little breeze
Drop to yo knees
I can see the big barrel of the chrome flip
Double grip handle for the squeeze
I keep a couple of those for the niggas who talk shit
When I go to Jacob and I cop that brain
If he tried to see me
I'mma cop that thang
and I'mma pop that thang
And the shots gonna sting [really?]
The nigga 'bout to set the trunk wit me[and?]
For the most part the nigga stuck with me
Id tell you something if you really was smart
And you knew better
People probably tell ya
Dont f**k with me
Front if you want mutha f**ka
You can catch it
Smile on my face
Even if I got the rachet
Aah Pop off police pull me over
Believe I got a compartment
And I gotta stash it
Must I just remind ya niggas
When I come through
Know that I am a find ya'll niggas
Take two, break through
Bust so many shots
Gun powder probably blind yall niggas now
Ok, lets go see you dont really want to feel a mossberg blow (nah)
Clap up a nigga then I cap up a nigga
When I finish this shit'll turn it into an absurd show
Look, Listen, and you better observe yo,
The sizzle from the bullet that the glock burst slow (sss)
Shoulda probably tweaked you up just a little
And had your body leanin, lookin like a quarter past four
Stay down better, (lay down) checkin for a nigga who can put yo body in the dirt (ooo)
I dont play bitch
you really need to go the other way
You know I got it under my shirt.

[Chorus]
Aint a damn thang change
I still keep that thang
Right up under my shirt
Better tell them I aint playin
Because its all fun and games
Until somebody get hurt

Aint a damn thang change
I still keep that thang
Right up under my shirt
When I pull away hang and bang
Cause it all fun and games
Until somebody get hurt

You finna get hurt, murked, put 'em in the dirt
Boy you betta catch me first
You finna get hurt, murked, put 'em in the dirt
Boy you betta catch me first
You finna get hurt, murked, put 'em in the dirt
Boy you betta catch me first
You finna get hurt, murked, put 'em in the dirt
Boy you betta catch me first

Busta is absolutely ripping his verse apart. No doubt the best song on TI vs TIP.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
