Q&A
An Ex is an Ex for a Reason Lyrics
if i'm talking to you at the back of the club
why does he walk past me?
and why does he rub his shoulder past mine
is it to let me know that he's here
whisper in his ear, from me i don't care
i can't believe that that is what he thinks of you
that i would click my fingers tell you to jump
and thats what you do i think he needed to trust you
a little bit more
but i will walk over there and make his head sore
(humming)
is he really threatened by the presence of me
he won't let you walk or talk
he won't let you see what i've got in my pocket for you
and think that you'd love to
why does he walk past me?
and why does he rub his shoulder past mine
is it to let me know that he's here
whisper in his ear, from me i don't care
that i would click my fingers tell you to jump
and thats what you do i think he needed to trust you
a little bit more
but i will walk over there and make his head sore
he won't let you walk or talk
he won't let you see what i've got in my pocket for you
and think that you'd love to

Another Awesome Song By Liam " The Genius" Fray :D
Top, top tune - one correction (don't take it to heart ellie!): it's "and make his head sore"
Yeah i agree with that correction, 'make his head sore'.
Amazing, simple, lovely song.
I dont get the bit about the pocket? is it just me being stupid?
I think the pocket is referring to the hiding place of the drugs that he's going to offer her. Presumably because they enjoyed them together when they were in a relationship.

I think he's refering to a condom being in his pocket, hence the 'and think that you'd love to'

Another quick correction: no "i" in the last line of the first verse, as he is speaking directly to the girl.
