God how I love this song, the chorus is so catchy, it's been stuck in my head from the first listen.

I think it's about a guy who realises that his girlfriend has gotten out of hand with drinking and drugs; 'you'll carry on until the day that you drop'. She doesn't know her limits and he tells her how her drinking and drug taking is effecting her; 'Dark rims around your eyes, are fashionable until somebody dies'.

I don't know if this is from Liam's past experience with himself and a girlfriend or whatever, but I think it's definitely about a boyfriend taking drugs: "I love it, I shoot it like a tommy gun," and the girlfriend does aswell but she doesn't know when to stop, and she will carry on until she's dead and she drops ;)

This song is offensive, this band is terrible.

Post-Doherty, skag-glamorising gibberish. As long as the girls don't get involved like, poor little lambs can't handle it.

If this song is that offensive then why listen to it and take the time and effort to comment on a website about the meanings of the lyrics?

This song is about a couple who are taking 'meth' and how it is wrecking/destroying the girl and how the man (maybe fray? probably not!) wants the girl to stop. Hence, "Your teeth are starting to go" this is linked as an effect of the drug. However, the writter likes or 'Loves' the drug as drawn from "I love it, I 'Shoot' it like a tommy gun" - which hints that he 'shoots' up often ! Finally it is further suggested that the man wants the girl to stop through, "Put the fiddle down" means put down the glass pipe which you take the meth with. And shrew refers to an evil women, who will do anything to get one over on you or gain something for free ! Thats about as good as your going to get :)

I really don't see it as this at all. I think its about a guy out in a club who keeps seeing his ex out . She clearly is always off her head and he is not impressed and is thinking of how much she has let herself go (obviously with drugs) Perhaps they did it all together in the past but she has taken it a tad too far, and now he is pleased he isnt with her anymore???
