In all honesty I can't blame the Abbots, Phil left pantera, he made down his main project and the Abbotts were left with no singer high and dry. I get that phill did his thing so I can't blame him either. Down was an amazing band that set the bar so high for me to this day I haven't heard anything like it. I wish kids today would.listen to this its amazing. The first 2 down albums are the holy grail! None of us really know the personal buisness of Phil the Abbots and Rex and I'd rather keep it that way. In the end all these people brought us a generation of music that brought us joy and entertainment. I saw down at the Henery Fonda theater in LA when I was in my early 20s and ill tell you it was a special thing I haven't experienced and may never experience again. This band is ingrained In my brain as one of the greatest of all times. Phil kept it real!
