Learn From This Mistake Lyrics

I've come so close, it's almost hard to believe
When you're up close, it blinds you brilliantly
Just one rush can change your life forever
Just one push can end it all together

Why can't we learn from the plague that surrounds us
Learn from my mistakes
Learn from this mistake
Learn from our mistake
Learn from their mistakes

There's no shoulder to cry on when you have no shame
There's no finger to point when you are to blame
Open book, in my eyes shows you rain, then storming
I can't look, when covered by the nothing and the suffering

Learn from my mistakes
Learn from this mistake
Learn from our mistake
Learn from their mistakes
Learn from my mistake

Believe me, all my friends, in the ending of the story
There's no junkie out there with a happy ending
It consumes you, and haunts you like the devil
It's the art of the process that kills off all the rebels

Learn from this mistake
Learn from my mistake
Learn from our mistake
Learn from my mistake...

I got one thing to say to jackrules - "Fuck pantera. Down is so much better than Pantera ever was. Pantera was just a bullshit hair metal band."

Your ignorance scares me. Before you go running off at the mouth just know exactly who you are talking about. Pantera single handedly revolutionized metal. If it weren't for Pantera - meaning Phil, Dime, Vinnie and Rex paving the way for every single band that is out there today, you would never have bands like Shinedown, Nickelback, God Forbid, Avenged Sevenfold, SlipKnot, Black Label Society and countless other bands. And of course, lets not forget Down.

Although you have the right to an opinion and I will always defend that right, you really should have a look at all the facts before you spew your ignorance. It's comment like these, that frustrate me as an artist and viewing the comments of certain individuals. I think many would agree with my reasoning to defend Pantera. And I feel anyone who knows metal, would not side with you.

Pantera were trailblazers in Metal and music in general and that cannot be denied.

Pantera's music were good anyway. And I don't get that fuckin' "that band sold out so I don't listen them anymore" attitude... Both Pantera and Down were/is kick ass bands but I personally prefers Pantera..

pantera WAS a hair metal band, then they changed and became good...... -the power metal album......

Cover art for Learn From This Mistake lyrics by Down

Yes, PanterA released 4 albums as a glam band that kept getting heavier (which is why their former singer left them and Phil came in), but so was Slayer, and other highly respected bands. At least they got heavier instead of softer...

But that's irrelevant, wanna discuss PanterA, go to the forum and make a thread. This is for comments on the wonderful music DOWN does.
