I think Phil wrote this song to tell what it means to him to be part of the underground scene:

"Could you ever admit to yourselves That you must walk in the light of the blessed? not invited to cry out loud I'm a brother stone cold truth love and suffer (the) siamese-cult"

He also seems to possibly be writing about his sobriety and abstinence from hard drugs, and his continuing journey to stay that way:

"eyes wide to reality crawling... the the path of the righteous crawling... to you again"

I think that this song is about Phil being unable to go to Dimebag's funeral. "Not invited To cry out loud I'm a brother..." He was unable to mourn in the right way, and "cry out loud" for his brother. That's just me though.
