i would seriously love to know what this song is about! its brilliant but i don't understand it
My best guess is that it's about estrangement. Trying to figure things out, wanting things to be better, but not being able to speak. Perhaps it's about longing to just be given the chance to be honest and show that things have changed, that it could be better now.
The "If only you could see me now" part always seems to me like, "Hey, look where I got without you." I'm not sure how the rest fits in with that, but that's always been my interpretation.
