I think when she says "you will" she means she will continue to.
To me, the whole song is simply saying, "You have been loved by someone good" and you screwed it up asshole.

It's as though she is finally letting him go, and although he completely destroyed her at first, she knows she is going to get better. She may even feel ready to let him go completely, and let him find love with someone else.

I think she has finally come to grips with the fact that the chance for their relationship is over. The anger and resentment has left her and only sadness remains. She wants him to know that she truly loved him because she feels he never recognized that. Sort of, "he really let a good thing go" deal. and though their may be others that will love him, he was loved by somebody good like her.

Yeah she's letting go, it's quite sad and bitter...but then she says 'you will be loved by someone good', so yeah, she's ready to let someone else have him, which I find is a strange contrast to the rest of her song and saying 'you have been loved by somebody good' (her).

No no no. She’s saying that he’ll be fine but she will not. She gave him every bit of her and can’t recover from that, but he will find someone good and be happy. “You took my very last hope away.” “And now I’ve drunk my very last beer with you.” She might forgive him and be less sad over time, but she’s not going to find love with someone else. And she’s over being angry “The bitterness and anger left me long ago” so I’m pretty sure she’s not calling him an asshole. Just accepting the fact that he damaged her.
i think it's someone telling their friend that he does really love her in the chorus, and the verses are how the friend feels about him. does that make sense? oh well.
Love songs can be written about many things ... and saying goodbye to somebody - or someTHING that has such a hold on you sometimes requires a creative outlet. SIA has been sober for 8 years after a battle with drugs & alcohol. I hear this sad & beautiful song as a goodbye to her longtime companion, her drug of choice ... I hear it because I understand it. We mourn the loss initially. Sometimes break-ups help us grow and move on though ❣️
