I had to pull over today because I was sobbing to this song. My mom is struggling with a rare form of lymphoma and idk this song reminds me of her, and things are so hard, i just don't want her to be gone.

Like someone else, I did wonder how this song fit into Eclipse... And Dreydon mentioned a 'goodbye to Jacob', so I'm now thinking along those lines. It seems far too 'sad' to be an Edward/Bella piece. And I'd actually prefer it if it was a Jacob-related one since he's my fave character :P Hehe. Regardless, this song is stunningly beautiful. Sia's voice conveys such raw emotion, and the strings and the piano complement perfectly. I could listen to this all day!

The beauty about art is that it is open to interpretation. My thoughts on why this song fits during the scene wear Edward proposes to Bella and she accepts in Eclipse is because it seals the deal for their love. Bella desires to sacrafice her human life to be with Edward forever. The song is about death, so the underlying message is a bittersweet message about dying for her love to become a vampire and leaving her human family and friends behind.

I dont think this has anything to do with Edward, it has something to do with Jacob. i think this song could not only be about death, but also the ending of a relationship: My love, you have found peace you were searching for release - the difficult relationship is over. Now I am strong (Now I am strong) You gave me all You gave all you had And now I am home - they had their relationship and she is content with how it ended. he gave her all she wanted You took my hand, added a plan You gave me your heart I asked you to dance with me You loved honestly Gave what you could release I know in peace you'll go I hope relief is yours - i think its a somewhat positive break up song, where the 2 partners are ok with the way it ended it, or she hopes that he finds their breakup a relief instead of something negative just my interpretation :)

to me, this song is about finding that someone who has given him/herself to you fully. finding that one person who has done and would do so much more for you. give you all. and now you have come to realisation. and you are asking telling this person you are as ready and as committed into giving this relationship everything. for Eclipse/Twilight fans, i think this song could possibly be actually from Edward's point of view. she has taken his hand, she added the plan (of being with him, changing to be like him, etc), and gave her heart to him, and he asked her to dance to his song/beliefs (like asking her to stay human for him bla bla bla etc). but now, he asked her to marry him, and she agrees on the condition he changes her. and so now, he knows, that from now on she will be forever with him with that vow. or it could also be from Bella's view, he gave her his heart, he added the plan (of being with her forever, but keeping her human bla bla bla), and he gave her his heart, and she asked him to dance with her (ie. to change her, dance to the same song now). i guess, you get my drift? either way, i think this is a great song. could be about death. at first, i thought if i heard this song if and when either of my parents die, i will break down. enjoy!
