Wonderless Lyrics

i don't care,
if your beautiful lips,
exist out there.
cause i'm wondeless,
why the best can't make it in hollywood
no more.

its like a long drag taken the smoke
its the light sky
like the birds and night
and its fake just like the movies
oh yeahhh

and i cant wait
just to see you again
and your two faces
locked on mine
i have the worst time chasing the thought away
nooo

cause maybe i'm a fake
maybe you're to blame
maybe i'm a star
stumbling in drunk lines
my mistakes wont leave me
ohh nooo

and if you don't find me on the front page
find a way to say that you saw me
and if you don't find me in a movie
find a way to say that you knew me

and if you don't find me at all
than i,
wont care...

ohh yeah

if i could find the place for the holiday
maybe i would call
you're a pay phone away
from the mess that i've become
i'm destroying what i love.

This song in my opinion reminds me of the struggle he's going through to become famous, and everything he imagined the fame to be was just an illusion, and now he misses 'the girl' who always stood by his side despite all the mistakes they've been through and the hard time he had chasing the thought of her away but deep down he still misses her. I think he still wants her to remember him for what he was rather than what he did.

i think this songs about a guy leaving his girlfriend so he can become famous and at the end where he's like "if i could find the place for the holiday, maybe i would call. you're a pay phone away from the mess that i've become; i'm destroying what i love." he's saying that being famous has made him a totally different person and he regrets breaking up with her

so yeah but this is a really really awesome song

I never disliked any song by Pierce the Veil.

for some reason, i really love the lyrics to this song. especially this part:

and if you don't find me on the front page, find a way to say that you saw me. and if you don't find me in a movie, find a way to say that you knew me. and if you don't find me at all than i wont care. ohh yeah.

if i could find the place for the holiday, maybe i would call. you're a pay phone away from the mess that i've become; i'm destroying what i love.

i mostly agree with markeestador on this one, but i don't think that they are broken up. i think that his heart still belongs to her, but he let his lust for fame get in the way of him being around for her. & although he misses her he is afraid to call her & face the mistake he has made, & he doesn't know what to say to her to justify what he's done. it also kind of seems like he's mad at her about something because he calls her two-faced "and your two faces locked on mine", and says that she might be to blame for his fony screwed up existence "cause maybe i'm a fake maybe you're to blame". i'm not sure.

For another thing, i think by saying "and if you don't find me on the front page find a way to say that you saw me and if you don't find me in a movie find a way to say that you knew me"

he is admitting how he feels like without being noticed in the media his existence would have been a waste because few people would have ever been aware of it, and like most of us, once his life is over, no one will remember him. i'm not sure if this is correct or not though, since after that he says "and if you don't find me at all than i, wont care..."

but it could just be because if he wasn't noticed he would feel like a failure, & when people feel that they have failed at something that is important to them they just give up on everything & feel like nothing matters anymore.

I think this song is basically about someone desperately trying to become famous and how he is losing touch with the 'real world' (the one he loves) because he sacrificed her for fame. In the beginning of the song Vic says 'it's like a long drag taken before the smoke hits the white sky, like the birds at night' I think here he is saying how fame doesn't last, as when smoke hits white sky it blends in and you can't see it anymore and also, you can barely see birds at night. Near the end he also begins to give up on fame 'if you don't find me at all, then I, won't care' (love this song) ;D Hope this helped

My Interpretation

I think this song could be about him immagining a girl of his dreams, like it would be nice to have her, but hes not going to go out and look for her.

hence " i dont care if your beautiful lips exist out there"

i definatley aggree on the theory that he left his girl for stardom.

"and if you don't find me on the front page find a way to say that you saw me and if you don't find me in a movie find a way to say that you knew me"

those things would make you famous, and when he is famous, hes saying he might froget about what it was like to be..normal.? so hes telling this girl to remind him who he really was. does that make any sense.?

im guesing<3

you completely forgot one of the best parts of the whole song?

"You and I got lost along the way. But this will end someday, someway."

lyrics are kinda wrong in the second verse. lol it's supposed to say

"it's like a long drag taken before the smoke hits the white sky," i think. idk, it could say light. either way, this song's amazing.

Amazing song, I think that it means - He wanted to be famous so badly that he's lost sight in what he truely set out to do(which was...I don't know make music perhaps?), and within doing that he lost the 'love' of his life, & he's having a hard time coping with it"i have the worst time chasing the thought away" so he tries to turn it around on her.

I don't know, I think this is my favorite song off the albumm.
