This song in my opinion reminds me of the struggle he's going through to become famous, and everything he imagined the fame to be was just an illusion, and now he misses 'the girl' who always stood by his side despite all the mistakes they've been through and the hard time he had chasing the thought of her away but deep down he still misses her.
