You're still shakin'
With your ass down on Fairfax
You're out so late
But nobody said that you are so late

Your friends come hot
With plenty of cocaine
But you don't hate
Who's got your back on the night you hesitate

You could talk all night
Your mascara paints my bed
Well it can't be right
But that's the only way
That I can get you wet

Well it's all over now
And you're still the same
But I'm still, I'm still okay
Well you got me down
I was so ashamed
But you're still, you're still the same

I see you looking for your face on the TV
And you're smiling back
But you never looked at anyone real like that

Why'd you think that I was so unwilling
You loved me so hard
And it's hard to love
When you don't know who you are

Say you wanna be saved
But all your friends are villians
Oh you hate your way
Why do you cut yourself - to feel it

Well it's all over now
And you're still the same
But I'm still, I'm still okay
Well you got me down
I was so to blame
And you're still, you're still the same

All the boy can do is make you mad
What's wrong with that
You say you need a man to understand
But I'm all you have
Woah..

Well it's all over now
And you're still the same
But I'm still, I'm still okay
And you got me down
I'm the only one to blame
Cause you're still, you're still the same

Well it's all over now
I wish you to stay
Well I'm still, I'm still okay
And you got me down
But I'm not ashamed
Caused you're still, you're still, you're still..
The same

Hey, yeah... I'm hearin' some different lyrics. May I show you what I am hearing?

I hear: "You could talk all night. Your mascara paints my bed; Well that can't be right, But that's the only way That I can get you away." (As in, getting her away from her druggie friends. Make sense? Cuz holy jeez, you had "get you wet" and man, that don't sound right...)

And... "Say you wanna be a saint, But all your friends are villains. Oh you hate your way. Why do you cut yourself to feel it?" (Meaning who the heck has villains for friends and manages to be a saint? And he's asking why she cuts herself to feel it - as in she doesn't know how to take out emotions and hates who she is, so she causes herself pain to clear her head a bit cuz that releases endorphins which makes a person feel better.) Uh... Not that I would know anything about cutting... O_O

But seriously, yeah... That's what I heard. :)

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
