You, you're such a big star to me
You're everything I wanna be
But you're stuck in a hole and I want you to get out
I don't know what there is to see
But I know it's time for you to leave
We're all just pushing along
Trying to figure it out, out, out

All your anticipation pulls you down
When you can have it all, you can have it all

So come on, so come on, get it on
I don't know what you're waiting for
Your time is coming don't be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine

Stop (stop)
Being so hard on yourself
It's not good for your health
I know that you can change
So clear your head and come 'round
You only have to open your eyes
You might just get a big surprise
And it may feel good and you might want to smile, smile, smile

Don't you let your demons pull you down
'Cause you can have it all, you can have it all

So come on, oh come on, get it on
I don't know what you're waiting for
Your time is coming don't be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine

Hey, let me know ya (let me know ya)
You're all that matters to me (you're all that matters to me)
Hey, let me show ya (let me show ya)
You're all that matters to me (you're all that matters to me)

So come on, get it on
I don't know what you're waiting for
Your time is coming don't be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine

Hey, let me know ya (let me know ya)
You're all that matters to me (you're all that matters to me)
Hey, let me show ya (let me show ya)
You're all that matters to me (you're all that matters)

Hey (let me love ya)
(Shine)
Let me love ya
(You're all that matters to me)
(Shine)
Oh come on (hey)
See the light on your face
(Oh, come on yeah)
Let it shine
Just let it shine
(Shine all your light over me)
Shine

    Song Meaning

Here's what I think in full: Well yes, this is about Robbie. 'You, such a big star to me, everything I wanna be' Solo coreer went badly while Robbie was still on a high, he's saying that 'If only my solo was that good'. 'But you're stuck in a hole and I want you to get out' Robbie was in ruins, his 'hole' which Mark wanted him to get out of and get better really 'Don't you let your demons blow you down, cause you can have it all' You're a great singer Robbie, just use that talent 'You're time is coming don't be late' You're chance is here, don't miss it 'See the light on your face let it shine' Show the talent you have 'I know that you can change' people see you because of you now, I know you're a good person so show it! 'You only have to open your eyes, you might just get a big surprise' You do have fans. 'You're all that matters to me' I really care about you. That's what the song means I think

    I love this song,

I think its about a person who is kind of depressed for no real reason and has like a big black cloud over their head clogging their thoughts or as they say "stuck in a hole" and the person behind the song is trying to lift them out and lift their spirits, and trying to make them realize that they could be so much happier just by changing their views on things.

In my opinion, it's a song directed toward a certain Mr. Williams.

It's just a harmless and happy pop song. And I need to hear them sometimes. :D

Of course this song is about Robbie, it's a great song and anyone who's ever known somebody with depression can relate to what Mark's saying. Only Mark could've sung this song. It's a great gesture too. Robbie, I love him, he'll always be my favourite, but he did stick the knife into Take That and Gary whenever he had the chance. It's nice that they're reaching out to him in this way, and I'm sure he will get that this song is for him. I hope it helps to lift him a bit.

Yeah, I agree this is about depression. I guess, I think I also think this song reminds me of my friend.

    A good friend.

    A possible something more.

Who will always be my idol, no matter what.

He's awesome. Haha, read my journal, find out moore...Lmao.

    Joking.

But, I love this song and Take That generally.

    Tis cool.

    Song Meaning

This song has so much meaning. Mainly I think it's for Robbie. It fits. Think: It was the second single after their comeback Who sung the song The lyrics, espcially 'But you're stuck in a hole'

It's basically saying 'Don't throw your life away. We care about you.'

I was in yet another treatment centre for drug addiction and my wife printed out these lyrics and gave them to me on a visit.

I'm not a Take That fan in any shape or form but these lyrics really resonated with where I was then.

I haven't picked up any mind or mood altering substance since that hospital stay in June 2009.

It maybe about depression but it also is valid for anyone who knows what it's like to be in active addiction

I did hear this was about Robbie Williams when he had his relapse, and Mark was reaching out as a friend and trying to put a positive on things saying: "You, you're such a big star to me, you're everything I wanna be" which is quoted with Rob's solo career.

And with the lyrics with "Hey, let me know ya, you're all that matters to me" basically saying "Let me in, let me know what's going on" that there is genuine care there.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
