Just have a little patience
I'm still hurting from a love I lost
I'm feeling your frustration
That any minute all the pain will stop

Just hold, me close
Inside, your arms, tonight
Don't be to hard on my emotions

'Cause I
Need time
My heart is numb has no feeling
So while I'm still healing
Just try
And have a little patience

I really wanna start over again
I know you wanna be my salvation
The one that I can always depend
I'll try to be strong, believe me
I'm trying to move on
It's complicated but understand me

'Cause I
Need time
My heart is numb has no feeling
So while I'm still healing
Just try
And have little patience yeah
Have a little patience yeah

'Cause the scars run so deep
It's been hard, but I have to believe

Have a little patience
Have a little patience

Oh, 'cause I
I just need time
My heart is numb has no feeling
So while I"m still healing
Just try
And have a little patience
Have a little patience
My heart is numb has no feeling
So while I'm still healing
Just try
And have a little patience

I love this song. I love the idea of "Patience" and how the song could be used to describe being patient with a lover, a friend, yourself, in fact the whole god damn world. Well done Take That (especially Gary Barlow) And the vocals wow ... what a range from Gary. Have you ever tried to sing along to it I obviously don't have Garys talents because I can belt out most of the song then get all squeaky at "Cause I need time". Its embarassing how squeaky I get thank god noone is listening !

This song is about just taking time to think about things and obviously having patience. I heard this song live and it is fucking amazing. It sounds identical to the recorded song. This song is definitly one of the better performed songs out there

i started by hating this song, cause it seemed just like another boy band story... but after losing a guy i thought i was in love with, all these guys started popping out of nowhere, asking me if i wanted them in my life. and none of them was patient :P but now i'm fine, so i listen to it to remember the bad days :)

I heard Take That talking about the meaning of this song, and they said that it's about a guy coming out of a relationship and having someone else interested in him. Even though he wants to move on and be with this girl, he's hurting from what he's been through and he's asking for a bit of time to get his head sorted out.

I think this is so refreshing. Too many people (including me) jump from relationship to relationship, scared of missing chances if they wait too long. I could have done with singing this song when my last relationship broke up to the guy I'm seeing right now!

I agree with ireneXY, lovely song, vocals done really well. The real vocal genius can be realised only when you try singing it yourself. Ouch.....my throat.

Omg this is freaky coz these lyrics fit perfectly with what a guy is telling me at the moment. I actually sat down and listened to the lyrics ansd was creeped out by how much this song matched his feelings

This song is amazing take that are cheesy but I like this song (the only one) I can relate, cos it can be hard coming out of one and feeling so betrayed

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
