Never seen the video, but the song has a powerful effect on me everytime I hear it.
to have sex? haha,, i love this song.. the video is amazing, it's directed by Michael Gondry.. who else could have done such a terrific video... try on acid
The actual lyrics are: "you should feel what I feel you should take what I take"
I think its called Star Guitar in reference to the David Bowie song, Starman. If you listen to it you'll know why.
Well the beginning ringing sound is a sample from the guitar in that song so yes it is referencing that.

Can anyone tell me who did the vocals for this! One of my favorite chem songs, I'm pretty positive it's not a featured artist, but did one of the bro's sing this or did they sample this from something?
Beverly Skeete, a vocalist from the UK. She also released a few songs, but hasn't done too much since then.

Amazing song! So emotive love it and the video +++
Such an infectious and addictive song... I'm obsessed. But the video is just a train or subway or whatever going by for the whole 6 minutes, if I remember correctly... Bit boring, although it did inspire me to listen to Star Guitar on the tube, and honestly, you have not experienced Star Guitar until you've listened to it on the tube/subway/metro/etc.
Are you jocking?? the video is one of CB's best!... you've got a give it a closer look... feel the beats synchronized with the images!!! The song is amazing... I love when the tempo changes... making it slow... a whole trip!
Well I wasn't "jocking", but I DID see the video a while ago while I was in a shoddy hotel room and was distracted, so I decided to watch it again. Much better than I remembered. I think because I was hardly paying attention the whole video just passed me by. You're right, the beats synchronized with the imagery is brilliant.
There's this point where the sound swells and breaks that's like dying or doing a gallon of acid or both... It's amazing.
