Sing Me Home Lyrics
I fell by the wayside
I fell on my knees
Crying, why was I so hard to please?
I stood at the crossroads
Took a long look at me
Sometimes you don't know where you're from til you leave
And I've been out there searching
For a place where I belong
And on my way I heard my song
Let it sing me home
The sun on my shoulders and the wind at my back
I'm bound and determined to get back on track
To where the heart is
Where it's been all along
Sometimes you don't know what you've got til it's gone
Gone gone gone
And I've been out there searching
For a place where I belong
And on my way I heard my song
Let it sing me home
And I've been out there searching
For a place where I belong
And on my way I heard my song
Let it sing me home
I fell on my knees
Crying, why was I so hard to please?
I stood at the crossroads
Took a long look at me
Sometimes you don't know where you're from til you leave
For a place where I belong
And on my way I heard my song
Let it sing me home
I'm bound and determined to get back on track
To where the heart is
Where it's been all along
Sometimes you don't know what you've got til it's gone
Gone gone gone
For a place where I belong
And on my way I heard my song
Let it sing me home
For a place where I belong
And on my way I heard my song
Let it sing me home

Another amazing song by Tim McGraw. This song i believe has a couple different meaning but yet the same. I think it's about a home town and a girl. The girl was in this town and for some reason he leaves but misses not only the girl but his home town. I know the exact feeling because I'm from a some what small town that people hate until they leave and then miss it. I also think it's about how everyone has their favorite song, and this song just reminded of home, where he wants to be.
