This is one of my favorite songs. https://fnfgo.io
Remember that guy that you
Thought was a creep?
Motley Crue T-Shirt and
Holes in my jeans
You were most back then most
Likely the one to succeed.
Well I got my nerve up and
Tried to stay cool
But you signed my yearbook and
Fucked up my world
You told me to "Stay super sweet
And good luck with the girls"
[Chorus]
Now the party's over
You're here to stay
Like a bad hangover
Won't go away
Ain't it funny how
Things change until now
I'm looking down on you
Now!
Yeah!
Remember that time when I
Saw you again?
Desperate in line with a
Couple of friends
You called my name as I
Cut through the line to get in
So I let you in and I
Brought you backstage
You drank all my liquor and
Fell on your face
You tried to tell me you
Knew that I'd make it someday
[Chorus]
You used to be so cool
Now you've got everyone thinking that
Everything's cool
But I'm not your fool
Now the party's over
And I'm here to stay
Like a bad hangover
I won't go away
Ain't it funny how
Things change until now
I'm looking down on you now
I'm looking down on you
Now!
Thought was a creep?

Just A Little Lovin'

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
Blue
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
Jeez, it's been 2 months and I have to be the first one to comment? Obviously, I like this song...otherwise I wouldn't have added it and it would be lost forever on the Platinum and Gold Collection and never make it to a lyrics site. I think it means that if someone is (or was) picking on you in school, don't worry about it...you're gonna look down on them someday if you already aren't.
three months now. how come I'm the only one in the world who's heard this song?
wow...three months without a comment to one of the best lit songs out there is bad eough...but eight months is just absurd. ALL YOU HARDCORE LIT FANS OUT THERE, COMMENT!
I love this song. It's now one of my favorites. Jimmford...you are THE man. There's only one batch of Lit songs...the elusive "Tripping The Light Fantastic" CD is quite hard to come by. I guarantee I'll have it in the next 2 weeks, though. I remember when I was back in freakin Middle School (I'm a college freshman right now) when everyone listened to freaking Boy Bands, I listened to the power punk that is LIT!.
three years...almost. 11 more days, and I'll have had this song up for three years, and yet me and aggieunderdog seem to be the only people who have heard of this song. that's crazy.
