This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
What makes all of us hate?
We're all the same
We roll the dice
And we play your game
We complicate
Show us the way
Before it's too late
And the whole thing breaks
We have a name
We all create
Everything else,
the mistakes we made
We'll make a change
We'll concentrate
Before we suffocate
Can't hold this in
And keep it quiet any longer
I've fallen in
And now this feeling's getting stronger
Take my breath away
Now I'm trying to get up
I'm trying to retrace
My steps back
To wherever I messed up
Is forever enough?
I'm holding on
I know you'll be there
Whenever I wake up
What makes everything change?
We're not the same
We all get stuck in the same clich©
We're taking aim
We dominate
Put on the pressure
Then the whole thing breaks
How come we wait?
Why do we hate?
We're falling away like the last crusade
We rearrange
We need to change
before we suffocate
Can't hold this in
And keep it quiet any longer
I've fallen in
And now this feeling's getting stronger
Can't hold this in
And keep it quiet any longer
I've fallen in
And now this feeling's getting stronger
Take my breath away
Now I'm trying to get up
I'm trying to retrace
My steps back
To where ever I messed up
Is forever enough?
I'm holding on
I know you'll be there whenever I wake up
(Now I'm trying to get up)
I'm trying to retrace
I've fallen in
(and now this feeling's getting stronger)
You take my breath away
Now I'm trying to get up
I'm trying to retrace
my steps back
to where ever I messed up
Is forever enough? (Is forever enough?)
I'm holding on
I know you'll be there
Whenever I wake up
Whenever I wake up
I know you'll be there whenever I wake up
Whenever I wake up
If I wake up!
What makes all of us hate?
Show us the way
Before it' too late
And the whole thing breaks

We complicate

This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version.
Great version of a great song,
Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

You guys Should know that this is a great simi hardcore punk song KEP ROCKEN
I couldn't get 3 or 4 lines so if someone can help that'd be sweet
"Show us the way Before it's to late and the whole thing breaks We have a name We all create"
and
"What makes All of us hate Show us the way Before it's to late and the whole thing breaks"
wat i think is that he is talking bout how everyone is getting on us because we are christians.
"Waht makes all of us hate we're all the same we roll the dice and we play your game,
and I beliave he is praying to God when he says "Can't hold this in and keep it quiet any longer, I'm falling in and this feeling's getting stronger.
Thats wat i think this song means and if I'm wrong the only person that willknow is Hawk Nelson themselves
the lyrics to this song are so bitchin
the previous two entries should be deleted for the obvious fact that the two who posted them are completely retarted and should no longer be granted permission to say anything every again. This is not "simi" hardcore punk...it's simply rock...gerenal rock...and people who use the word "rock_u99" used to describe the lyrics means female dog...fyi...the lyrics are so female dogging. Yeah you're cool....
Im a christian and I do know that somtimes life gets so frustating(because the jesus says that just because your a christian life does not get easier it actually gets harder). so when he says "is Forever enough" he saying if it is a really worth it being a christian. And the chorus sort of is softer because in the lyrics he is reassuring himself, "I know you'll be there whenever I wake up"
well, i wouldn't normally look it at with a religious lense, but since hawk nelson is most definitely a christian band, i think i'm going to have to subscribe tot he jesus theory. I think the forever enough part is about wondering if being fiathful forever cna really make that much of a difference or if it just isn't enough
