To me it is about being in a young relationship with someone who is too into you, to the point where you question their maturity and sincerity. He says that she fits around him so tight, but she doesn't trust him. She's too wild, and not really ready to settle. She thinks he's just telling her what he thinks she wants to hear. He tells her he means it deep inside, but she's not buying it.

if you ask me, the key line is 'get over me': first verse, dissatisfaction; second verse, 'try the new tease, well if I were you / Get over me'. 'Way out' means out of reach, don't you think? Like the hippies say, incredibly trippy and also, maybe way out means like a person swept out at sea, unreachable, unrescueable. And finally, the 'one minute' might be a metaphor for a quick fling or love affair that doesn't get below the surface of the singer.

I think that its about a realtionship where one person is in love with the other and thinks that the other is in love with them. but the other person (the person in karens perspective) doesnt like them {I hate you, Get over Me!} beacuse the other person is too square {The face ain’t makin what the mouth needs}

Quite frankly, I think this song is about sex.

i think it could be defiantly be about sex, and her getting head from a guy. but it could also be about how someones such a tease, and you know they want you but they own't admit it.

The line "Wander more, want more than we did before" is talking about how people grow older and want more and more, and are never satisfied. In this situation, it's talking about a boy who wants more and more from a girl that is a tease.

It seems like she realized he just wants more from her, not so much that he really likes her, and she's saying "get over me" because he doesn't like her for the right reasons.

She says in the beginning "It's all over me, it's all under me" like what the guy wants isn't actually her, it's what she's all about. He likes the way she comes off and what is holding her up (it's all under me), like her ideals.

"Even on the inside, you still can't get to me," means that even if they were to get close, and she were to open up to him about her true self, he still would be much more fixated on the idea that he has what he wanted, and that she is what he wants, that even then, after he has her, he still won't like her for the right reason.

I think its about a girl who's getting married but she's not really in love with him, she's just doing it because she thinks it's what she's supposed to do. "Fits around me so tight" might represent the wedding dress or the ring. And I think when she says "I’m way out ... One minute on the inside, you still can’t get to me" she's trying to displace herself and saying that no matter how intimate they get they'll never really be in love. I don't know... it's just an AWESOME song.
