This song was performed by Rufus for the Martin Scorcese directed film "The Aviator." It's a song written by George Gershwin from his musical "An American in Paris."
This is like the eighth time Rufus has contributed to a film soundtrack. :)
It is.He is in alot of soundtracks,but alot of his fans discovered him from a gay associated something (For me,I heard "Poses" on "Queer as Folk") I wish everyone would open there ears and hear Rufus!
I love Rufus's version of this song! It suits him so well! I love the horns and the cymbals, they compliment his voice so well.
(I found him through Hallelujah from Shrek. My friend downloaded the song and then I did and I instantlly fell in love with his voice. I still remember, after that song I downloaded April Fools and The One You Love. And that's where my Rufus obsession started. :] The man is a beautiful genius and so inspirational!! Just thought I would share my Rufus experience.)
