You can tell him that I'm waiting
You can tell him that I'm not coming home
It's been a couple weeks debating
And I'm still not sure if she really knows
Fight off your urges to tell her how you feel
It can only cause you problems tonight
Hold tight till you leave, then decide
Whether the timing was wrong, or was it right?

Cause I know I would, regret if I ever left
Take a look just a little closer
Because she's the one that makes it feel like home
And I see now, but I can't fight
Wait here just a little longer
Hold on tight you about to lose her
These feelings that I have inside for her

Call me a friend when you're in dire need of
Falling cause I'm always there to help you up
Call me when you have a place to run away from
Call me cause I..

Cause I know I would, regret if I ever left
Take a look just a little closer
Because she's the one that makes it feel like home
And I see now, but I can't fight
Wait here just a little longer
Hold on tight you about to lose her
These feelings that I have inside for her

Give me a chance to prove that I
Could be your one, your inspiration.
Cause I swear, I won't, mess it all up give me a try
I know that I have my own flaws
But they just build my motivation
So take me, right now, before I start to change my mind

Cause I know I would, regret if I ever left
Take a look just a little closer
Because she's the one that makes it feel like home
And I see now, but I can't fight
Wait here just a little longer
Hold on tight you about to lose her
These feelings that I have inside for her

This is my favorite song my The Scene Aesthetic. I believe it is about crushing on someone and being afriad to tell them. I would say most people have been there before and can relate.

I just love to take lines from songs and apply them to my personal life though.

Because she's the one that makes it feel like home

    Yep.

i think this song is about a guy in love with his best friend (a girl). but he knows that if he tells her how he feels, she's gonna see him differently and everything will change between them. most people can usually relate to this song in some way or another... this is my favorite tsa song too :)

I think this song is about a guy who has strong feelings for a girl but is not sure if it's right to tell her.. he knows that he would be good for her and could prove to be the right one. and he's thinking about maybe giving up, "Cause I know I would, regret if I ever left" and "So take me, right now, before I start to change my mind".. this is by far one of the best songs by the scene aesthetic..

sufimlh is right, but i think The Scene Asthetic wanted to get across that this song means more than a guy trying to tell his girl best friend how he feels. I think they want people to know that this song is also about growing up, because the title is "So Peter, You've Become a Pirate", this is a line said by one of The Lost Boys (i think) to Peter Pan in the 1991 movie, "Hook"

reading what evenstarsbreak said i think that this song could be totally about peter pan and wendys relationship. ''You can tell him that I'm waiting You can tell him that I'm not coming home'' could be about Never-never land ''Call me a friend when you're in dire need of Falling cause I'm always there to help you up Call me when you have a place to run away from'' running away from home ''Cause I know I would, regret if I ever left'' Peter leaving Wendy in england. just an idea :)

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
