Yes we have the audio
Amassing barriers
I oughtta know
For I've taken pulls until it's aerial
And yes contest with the best monetary order
You get the daughter
You can murder it
If you've heard of it
Or you've purchased it in the showroom
But that's not part of it
Or at least not part of the book 'cause I've read it
And as for the film I've seen it
Oh and I mean it
I am the prodigal son of involuntary order
Or shit I taught 'em
On a strange man from a strange land
Near Japan trots a dog of war
Who is sorting overzealous razorwire wristbands
And he's the bees knees
And if he sneezed please oversee this slight oversight for which he'll fight
Granted tonight's the night
And if you feel it well then alright
Would I lie to you?
Yeah I'd like to
Over and over
Over and over
Stand there laughing
But what for?
Conceptual continuity
Driven stewardly
I'm through with thee
My focus on the parody is new to me
You're digging holes like you've forgotten how to swim
And taking orders like you're my daughter
I like the night if you like the night
I love the night if there's a general on my right
Boy what have you become? You've become undone
And boy I've been there
A coward in the face of what you stood for
I'm dirt poor and still I've stood more
'Cause tonight's the night and if you feel it alright, well
Would I lie to you?
Yeah I'd like to
Over and over
Over and over
Stand there laughing
But what for?
Well...
I never eat the stomach, no
Because you never know
What's your prey's prey and what's its sign
Astrological, anatomical, in the name of art
Hosannah's form
Lipstick on the collar of a wed man
Comical.
Mystery travels in pairs
I ride sidecar
And I love company
And where is the daybreak from this daterape?
Please step back as I placate
History's mystery fizzling sizzling shimmering glicering glistening in the light
You'll get your rocks off but you can't stop girl tonight
Would I lie to you?
Yeah I'd like to
Over and over
Over and over
Stand there laughing

this is just my interpretation. i feel like he's writing a monologue while on drugs--figuratively or literally, whatever. he just writes whatever comes to mind. and i feel like he's sort of having a conversation with himself. especially in the second verse. everything he's saying is a symbol for something else in reality, and is a symbol because of the oxycodone. then, the chorus is more flat out: "Would I lie to you? Yeah, I'd like to..." could translate to "Of course this is true, even though I wish it werent." then they're laughing at him because he's hiding the truth behind symbols / drugs. honestly, this song is one of my favorites. its like a poem, the way he reads it and everything.
oh, and its "...for I've taken [pulls] until it's aerial" by the way.
oh, and "oxycodone" is a painkiller. so. yeah. kill the pain by hiding the truth / reality.

this is a good song but its hard to determine what its really about!
I can't pin down one thing in this song, all I can tell is that he's a lyrical genious. My favorite verse undoubtedly is the second half-verse (i like the night...). The chorus seems really personal, as does the song at times, but it's hard to tell what it's about. I just like the lyrics in general.
i think its about daryl and his disease somehow i cant really see how though
straight up freestyle lyrical showcase more behind it deffinatly, but for the most part just a flow of thought...and even possibly influenced by (oxycodone?) but an amazing song regardless of any meaning you give it.
I think this song is about the perils and delight of having to take oxycodone for his disease how it can rip u apart and take you to a more concious place, or something like that
Those are brilliant lines. I can't imagine how people come up with this kind of stuff, but then again Daryl is a genius..

i love that! I absolutely adore GJ. This song is rythmic and lyrical genius. The flow of the lyrics are amazing. It can mean so many different things. I like that about Daryl's writing.
This song is hard to get. It makes you think a whole lot.
But overall...I think it's about him doing oxycodone and it kinda seems like he's watching tv and talking about the world around him today.
some of the lyrics remind me of some of the stuff Morrissey writes...
