this is just my interpretation.
i feel like he's writing a monologue while on drugs--figuratively or literally, whatever. he just writes whatever comes to mind. and i feel like he's sort of having a conversation with himself. especially in the second verse. everything he's saying is a symbol for something else in reality, and is a symbol because of the oxycodone. then, the chorus is more flat out: "Would I lie to you? Yeah, I'd like to..." could translate to "Of course this is true, even though I wish it werent." then they're laughing at him because he's hiding the truth behind symbols / drugs.
honestly, this song is one of my favorites. its like a poem, the way he reads it and everything.
oh, and its "...for I've taken [pulls] until it's aerial" by the way.

oh, and "oxycodone" is a painkiller. so. yeah. kill the pain by hiding the truth / reality.
