Games we don't want to play
Same winner everyday
Kill for the second best
Feel no more, feel no less

We have our minutes cut
We lose our feelings but
That's what the movies show
This is where stories go

Stars we don't want to reach
Scars we don't want to stitch
Go where we haven't been
Fly away, time machine

Cloud we will chase him out
Crowds, we will face them down
This is our secret place
Outer space, outer space

Our home forever is outer space
Black stars and endless seas, outer space
New home, new destinies, outer space
Forever we'll be in
Outer space, outer space

Ground we don't want to feel
Found what they didn't steal
Time, we were really lost
Bridges burnt, fingers crossed

We, shall we ever be free
With no guarantee
Life on another plane
Same before, same again

Go where you want to go
So no one ever knows
Only what we decide
Is it gone
Has it died

Dry every tear in my eye
You can tell me why
This is our secret place
Outer space, outer space

Our home forever is, outer space
Black stars and endless seas, outer space
New home, new destinies, outer space
Forever we'll be in
Outer Space, outer space

Outer space is where we get together
And this place we're meant to be
Stars are dancing and the time is fading
Dead forever,
You and me,
You and me

Racing stars and common moons are planets
In the cosmos, we are free
There's no atmosphere
And no obsessions
It'll always be
It'll always be

Our home forever is, outer space
Black stars and endless seas, outer space
New home, new destinies, outer space
Forever we'll be in
Outer Space, outer space

Our home forever is, outer space
Black stars and endless seas, outer space
New home, new destinies, outer space
Forever we'll be in

Outer space, outer space

It's about them separating their real lives from their fame. Awesome song!

I love t.A.T.u... really, I do... but seriously girls, what the fuck were you thinking with this song? I mean, the beat is good... actually, this band has pretty faulty lyrics as far as meaning much of anything, so their catchy beats really save a lot of their songs. I like the idea of having hot lesbian space sex... that's going to be my interpretation of this song from now on.

I feel it's leaving a place with complications and knowing how it feels to be alive without breathing

It seemed pretty straight forward to me, it describes how they want to escape from all the problems and conflict to a place without boundaries, a place of dreams and beauty where they can be free

Oh, there's quite a few mistakes here too but all I know for certain is:

Cloud we will chase him out > Clouds we will chase a mile

This song could easily be a sequel to "Not Gonna Get Us". In that one, they're running away, and in "Cosmos", they've already run away, and are now finally in the place where they can be free. In the song, the cosmos is the perfect refuge to run away to, it's beautiful ("stars are dancing", etc), they're "meant to be" there, it's a secret place where life is not complicated. I don't think they're necessarily "happy" there; the song seems to be more about being at peace, which is the perfect followup to "Not Gonna Get Us", where they were worried about being pursued and hunted down.

Games we don't want to play Same winner everyday Kill for the second best Feel no more, feel no less

We have our minutes cut We lose our feelings but That's what the movies show This is where stories go

    • This makes me think of death/after life. Their minutes are cut meaning, their time ended, they died. Since they're dead they have no feelings. Movies show afterlife a lot, in a sense of heaven or whatever. All stories usually end with an afterlife of some sort for those who die.
    • What way is it that they die though? To me it seems to be talking about suicide. "Kill for the second best" is one of the reasons I get that idea, they seem to be fed up.

Stars we don't want to reach Scars we don't want to stitch Go where we haven't been Fly away, time machine

Cloud we will chase him out Crowds, we will face them down This is our secret place Outer space, outer space

Our home forever is outer space Black stars and endless seas, outer space New home, new destinies, outer space Forever we'll be in Outer space, outer space

    • Going where they haven't been. And they have scars they don't wanna stitch, leaving them vulnerable yet strong (also confirming the suicide thought). The crowds they'll no longer have to deal with.
    • The word forever I always connect to something beyond our time as living. So naturally this is their forever now, Outer Space. Their new home.

Ground we don't want to feel Found what they didn't steal Time, we were really lost Bridges burnt, fingers crossed

We, shall we ever be free With no guarantee Life on another plane Same before, same again

Go where you want to go So no one ever knows Only what we decide Is it gone Has it died

Dry every tear in my eye You can tell me why This is our secret place Outer space, outer space

    • "They" (the crowds) could never possibly steal this afterlife, their forever, their timelessness and free place.
    • Wondering if this place will actually make them free, if it'll just be the same as before. There's really no guarantee for knowing if dying will possibly be any better.

Our home forever is, outer space Black stars and endless seas, outer space New home, new destinies, outer space Forever we'll be in Outer Space, outer space

Outer space is where we get together And this place we're meant to be Stars are dancing and the time is fading Dead forever, You and me, You and me

Racing stars and common moons are planets In the cosmos, we are free There's no atmosphere And no obsessions It'll always be It'll always be

Our home forever is, outer space...

    • Outer space is where we go when we die, "where we get together" and where we're "meant to be". They're dead forever.
    • Outer Space will always just "be". And then it continues to say "always be our home forever".

I think alternatively it could be about high expectations from others that you actually don't want to do and follow. And simply giving a big "F You" and doing your own thing. And not to forget the hot lesbian space sex. Haha.

    Sorry for the long post.

    My Interpretation

In my opinion, in this song, they are talking about those people who don't respect lesbians. They don't wanna be around them, or be ruled by them but those people always win because they are stronger. That is why they feel like outsiders and make the cosmos (outer space) their home. Because they can be together there, alone, with no one saying bad things about them.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
