Dangerous And Moving Lyrics
You take it all away
But never give it back
And this is what you say
Their lives are yelling back
And this is how they move
And this is how they sway
The danger is the truth
They die and come again
Obstacles and signs
Perilous and looming
Dangerous and moving
Dangerous and moving
Obstacles and signs
Perilous and looming
Dangerous and moving
Dangerous and moving
No mercy for the lost
No soothing for the sad
The line is never crossed
They are the living dead
And this is how they move
And this is how they sway
That danger is the truth
They die and live again
Obstacles and signs
Perilous and looming
Dangerous and moving
Dangerous and moving
Obstacles and signs
Perilous and looming
Dangerous and moving
Dangerous and moving
But never give it back
And this is what you say
Their lives are yelling back
And this is how they move
And this is how they sway
The danger is the truth
They die and come again
Perilous and looming
Dangerous and moving

I wasn't too sure if I liked this song at first, but after really looking at the lyrics, I've really come to love it.
To me, the song is about the evils of modern society. Society is quickly becoming more and more about self-indulgence ("You take it all away, but never give it back"). Far too many people center their lives around sinful indulgences (This much is obvious through what is portrayed in the media and what life as we know it has turned into). Society has taken to cruelty and selfishness, and all of the bad morals and horrible excuses for living this way is being passed on to the young, and, in turn, the generations to come ("The danger is the truth. They die and come again."). Innocence is hard to come by, and human compassion and morality is being driven out bit by bit ("No mercy for the lost, no soothing for the sad.") The music video for this song supports my interpretations as well, showing the ultimate downfall of a society based on selfishness and indulgence.
I'll not soon forget this song.
i believe this song is about conforming to society in general.
correction: (lies are yelling back) LIVES are YELLOW BLACK
What is a yellow black life? (This is actually what I hear when I listen to this song... but I don't get it.)
Once again, a song by these girls that doesn't make any sense. It's best for them to just make out. Or stick to Russian. Then I don't understand it so I can just enjoy it for the beat.
And even with negative things to say, I just love them...
lizzieluv2play....Haven't you ever seen those notices which warn about a danger? for example "biohazard"? if you look at them, you will notice that they are Yellow Black!!! This sentence means that people's life is always pervaded by fear!
Yeah, I think it's supposed to be about pervasive fear and those who obediently follow everything.
I think they ARE saying "Their lies are yelling back." But it's more like "yellin' back" with an accent.
First of all, I'd like to say that this is my favorite t.A.T.u. song, on a par with its Russian counterpart "Ludi Invalidi".
That said, the songs seem to be speaking basically about the same thing. The "bad" people around the world. The Russian version refers to them as invalid, lacking humane qualities (not physical handicaps). This version refers to what they do. Their "dangerous and moving" actions. Lena once said something in an interview along the lines of these people being like big ("looming") deisel trucks. Machines with moving gears whose actions are destructive ("perilous") and predictable. You can see their negative behavior coming.
The "living dead" part seems to speak for itself.
I think it means that people are afraid to take risks in life for fear of hurting themselves,, but every is dangerous in their own way and we're not stopping for anyone because thts just how our society has become...
