its obviously about someone who fell for a girl who treats him like shit, talks to him like shit and makes him feel like shit (hehe shit shit shit)- "Cause you make me feel like a dog"... and she doesnt care about his emotions or feelings... hes just a toy for her..

like tomtooth and haunted said. Its about a guy who's in love with a chick who's just using him. she know he wants her, and is "stringing him along" keeping him around as a fallback incase things dont work out. her 'just in case boy' I like the 'break glass if needed' analogy. like emergency fire hydrands n tools.

Anyway, she can read him like a book. or like a dog- who are known for not being very emotionally deep, unlike cats who r pretentious. you can immediately tell if a dog is happy/angry/scared/IN LOVE with you. 'you can see its emotion' just by its body language.

eventually he realises how shes using him. and wonders if his love is returned "is this for real" because, she's ignoring him and eventually he'll lose out, and have nobody- sink in the ocean.

so he breaks out, realises 'he dont wanna be her just in case boy'

The title speaks for itself. It's about a woman that already has somebody but strings another man along and holds herself above his head. It's difficult to let go in these situations because sometimes you truly feel like you have a chance. "I don't want to be your just in case" I can relate to the song but I will say that it's best not to get yourself involved in a situation like this cause you'll get hurt in the end almost every time.

A quite basic and direct song. A man who got blinded and fooled by his emotions and got used by a "black widow". Although he was a "happy dog" and kept waiting for the same attention in return, he could not read how she would react. He was confused and kept missing her, until her need for sex was aroused. Aftewards, she would dump him in a garbage can, literally, until next time. The same cycle would happen. Independently of the times this would happen, she would always make him crawl to her.

Time has passed and he has realized how much of a dog (praising his owner, always happy and around to see him. Does not think of the bad things) he was to her. He had suffered enough time (I'm a man sinking deep in the ocean) and he knew he had to get to the end of the line. For her, It was a mere illusion and just for "fun", which was quite disappointing. He got the balls to cut the evil by the root. Now he's alone and growing cold. He owns himself.

can't deny that.. but yeah.. this song deserves about 4 comments imo..
