Spilled Milk (English) Lyrics
So I want you for me to die
Hide your blood veined eyes Swallow your loneliness The voices pressures in
Your words that ask for me The joy of being needed
I bite my nails just a little
I picture the swaying vision Of the reality being real You test me persistently
You get angry when I dont agree You lose yourself
And I fall in love with you once again
Cant be touched Wont be touched
blind sorrow
I know its hard for you to wait for me, so dont cry, go ahead and sleep
What do you want from me? If I say to you that you look beautiful, will you be able to sleep?
Its so dark and dark and dreadful Lets calm down with an old ale
I am good at pretending to cry So I spill the milk and smile and I yell her the truth about not being pregnant
Dont do an excessive thing
Your words that ask for me The joy of being needed
I bite my nails just a little
You get angry when I dont agree You lose yourself
And I fall in love with you once again
What do you want from me? If I say to you that you look beautiful, will you be able to sleep?
Its so dark and dark and dreadful Lets calm down with an old ale
I am good at pretending to cry So I spill the milk and smile and I yell her the truth about not being pregnant

hmm no one's commented yet...well from the third stanza or verse or whatever, it appears this person is in love with someone who really like pisses them off, but that is what like basically turns them on. this person sounds like some sort of masochistic depressed person or something...i dunno thats what i think..the rest of the song kinda throws me off. when it says "i spill the milk and smile and i tell her the truth about not being pregnant" spiiling milk could be making a mistake...and it appears this person is also female...and yeah...any other ideas?
Yeah that makes sense to me ^^
I think that "milk" is a double entendre for sperm. Maybe he means since his girlfriend or wife has given up on having a child and refuses to give him more chances, he has to masturbate. I may be totally wrong, but that's my take.
well it deffinately deals with babies.. kyo loves writing about them so much lol... of i think i agree with Jarhed.
I think it is about a man in a difficult relationship. His girlfriend or wife is absolutely dependend on him. That pisses him off, hurts him, but he also enjoys it. She wants a child from him because that's the ultimative product of love, but it won't happen, because he does not really love her. He cares for her like for a child, because he is sorry and makes him partly feel good.
i heard somewhere that Kyo's girlfriend pretended to be pregnant because she wanted to marry him but then he found out it was a lie so he writes lots of songs about the child he "lost".
okay, so the expression is "no use crying over spilled milk." thus, the title should represent something in the past that the 'narrator' (per se) cannot take back and thusly there is no point in fretting and worrying over it. but, who says that they aren't stressing over it? it is simply called spilled milk as in the thing to be guilty over. This phrase can be traced back all the way to James Howell, a British historian and writer from 1659. The phrase appeared in one of his litary works, Paramoigraphy (ya das rite, did my research~ copied from 'know your phrase' or something like that). in 1659 people would have been still milking cows, not that we've stopped, its just they prolly wouldn't have been able to have gotten it in a gallon bottle (etc) like we can today. so... people went out and actually milked the cows, and the milk was either sold at markets or used to feed the family. either way, if you spilled it during this time period (when the idiom came from), your sadness would be more guilty than... sad. so there is the background of the title to give you a sense of what the song could mean.
i might do further analysis of stanza structure and POV later on.
