I wonder if this song has anything to do with the brilliant novel by Sylvia Plath?
I do believe that this song has ties to the novel by Sylvia Plath. One of their frontmen,Josh, likes Sylvia Plath. So it would make sense. And if im not mistaken her novel is about a woman who more or less cracks up? The song and the book seem to have ties.
I thought perhaps this song was talking about how terrible music has become, or better yet, how the true purpose has been perverted. Although maybe I'm wrong. It could indeed tie back to Sylvia Plath. I suppose either way the song is very well written and very well performed.

this song is so raw. its like showbread all that showbread is about wrapped up in one song.
notice how the CD begins with Tae calling Josh and it ends with a busy signal. so sweet.

This song has everything to do with Slyvia Plath. Her book "The Bell Jar" was a semi-autobiographical book about HER life.
Josh's writing style is highly influenced by Sylvia Plath. I just recently did a research paper on her, and have come to find she and josh have similar writing patterns.
Sylvia had a rough life. Got married, had two kids, got divorced...and in the end she killed herself [gassing herself with her oven].
I honestly believe the last stanza of the song were equivilent to her thoughts before she took her life.
