Don't You Wish You Had Some More Lyrics
You were the last one to be saved.
So, don't be the last one to the parlor that Sunday.
'Cause now I, I like to think you are ashamed.
But I like to think.
And you thought when we think and we get away.
But as for you:
As for you,
you got lucky.
You got lucky once,
but that won't happen again.
But as for you,
you got lucky.
You got lucky once,
but that won't happen again.
And oh, those dirty hands,
come wash away my stink.
Come thank me for the offer.
You owe that much at least.
And oh, those filthy thoughts
that rattle in my brain.
The sticky on the sheets
is now this ugly on your face,
and there is no escape.
Don't you wish you had some more?
We hit the lights and hit the floor.
My bright, peculiar smile,
I want to see your hair
hanging from the trees.
Well, don't you wish you had some more?
'Cause it's just a matter of time before
the wicked cancer, I'm gonna get ya.
'Cause as for you,
you got lucky.
You got lucky once,
but that won't happen again.
But as for you,
you got lucky.
You got lucky once,
but that won't happen again.
And oh, those dirty hands,
come wash away my stink.
Come thank me for the offer.
You owe that much at least.
And oh, those filthy thoughts
that rattle in my brain.
The sticky on the sheets
is now this ugly on your face,
Oh, there is no escape,
those eyes that follow me.
So, tell me where you were last night,
sweetheart, don't lie to me.
And there is no cadence
from what i could release;
this nest of vipers on your face,
so now it's on your knees.
So, now it's on your knees.
There is no escape.
So, don't be the last one to the parlor that Sunday.
'Cause now I, I like to think you are ashamed.

Look at the CD's lyrics for this song. All titles have been written out in the lyric font and behind that title, a different font, but the same title written out. if you look at the same song title in the lyrics book for this song it says "Don't You Wish You Had Some One" instead of "Some more."
Interesting isn't it?
I don't have the booklet, but I have the album, could you PM me with a scan or something?

I love how this song is demented and beautiful at the same time.
Incredible band.
When you see the video for this you can get an idea what's behind some of the lyrics. He's showing feelings of bitterness and sadness about a failed relationship that he probably didn't want to come to an end. He also is now thinking about other guys touching the one he loves. You can see that in the lyrics "And oh, those dirty hands, come wash away my stink." and "So, tell me where you were last night, sweetheart, don't lie to me."
The music video definitely has that "Ghost of Christmas Past" approach. The guy has a girlfriend and this ghost shows him what she's doing behind his back. I like how you can tell they're at RubberGloves in Denton for the restaurant scene. I think the "dirty hands" reference is more about him wiping the blood off his hands, or may be he has OCD and cleans his hands all the time.
I love how this band examines the darker parts of relationships. Jealousy and vengeance and such. And they do it without reverence to the people the songs are written about. It's stalker music and it's a great new take on music.
what i get from it is that he fills that she owes something to him, because in a way she lead him on possibly? maybe they fooled around and he was under the impression that they were headed for more of an relationship. but she didn't want that
"i wanna see your hair hanging from the trees"
these guys have some truly haunting lyrics.
yeah guys I dont think it's his girlfriend but whatever...
