You're all on the spot with the meaning . .=) Imo just like you've all said, it's about him putting in all the effort into the relationship. Whether it be sharing his past with her, helping her cope with her own demons, whatever the obstacles they face, he seems to be always giving but never on the receiving side. He knows that she's one tough cookie to keep a hold of, but He knows that regardless of how complicated she can be, she'll always be his girl especially since they've gone through a lot of shyt together, and they'd be foolish to let go of eachother after that. Sometimes he finds it hard to believe that she's still his, after all the problems that life has thrown at their relationship and as Matthew said he appreciates her because of that.

I first heard this song in SSX On Tour, I fell in love with it.<3

It's about a guy who I think might be losing the girl in loves but he is saying that even though he still loves her and wishes to be with her. She is a mystery to him and can't figure her out.

She might be moving on but he will always hold a special place in her heart such as she will in his. He find it hard to swallow because he knows he last her and still can't believe it.

Of course it does ;). But it's about a relationship in which HE is the part, that doesn't want to lose her, even if it takes his everything. I think, the "threat" spoken of in this song is the threat to leave him, but he loves her and so he does everything to keep her, even if it's hard to take (or "swallow") for him.

I do like his line about how she will run in his sleep. I can relate, to care about someone so much and then they are gone after you gave it everything, though your mind is no longer yours when your sleeping, and there she is.

I like it. About caring for someone, who might not care or not care as much for you.

I can't believe no one has commented on this song :O! I think this is a great strong song, which is cool and yet so sensitive. For me it tells about a relationship between a girl and a boy

Yeah I think he appreciates her, but point out how he finds it hard to go on in the relationship a lot of the time.
