i think the song is about the lack of motivation that grew a lot in the whole world. the chances to get what you want are that small that most people don't even try. instead of doing something they are surrendering to their suffering. "mir ist kalt" (kalt is german for cold) - cold is always something bad in rammstein lyrics and often describes things like depression etc. the "problems in the bedroom department" that are described in the song are meant symbolic

'Mir ist kalt' in this context actually means 'I am frigid' I would say this is a lot about the way that we percieve ourselves - although obesity affects sex drive, it doesn't get ridof it all together. You could have the perfect body but if you lack self esteem and are depressed you would feel the same. It isn't as superficial as it may first appear.

Hoplessness, depression, lack of motivation etc. The loss of sexdrive is just a scondary effect as I see it, as is obesity. To be clinical depressed is to lose the will to live.

This song just sounds cool.

It is, but it's also the common way to say "I don't want". Not meaning one is opposed to it, but simply not motivated or "having no desire" to do it.

And I'm quite sure it's about depression. And also another song about dying alone (like Mutter, Adios, or Spieluhr).

my german isn't exactly best, but of what i can understand, it's about someone that just doesn't want to do anything...i mean...i don't know to explain that feeling...just simply...don't have will to live...something like that it's a very nice song

Well, I think it's about this guy who's got some problems in the bedroom department...if you know what I mean...

If you see the music video (pretty much just them in fat suits) you can understand this a bit better. Yes, it's about problems in the bedroom, but that's a secondary problem, a result of this epidemic of obesity, which leads to depression and just a feeling of not wanting to do anything, which greatly effects the sex drive.

well yeah, undressing, not getting it on, etc, but in the making of the music video they said it was cause when they started they loved the money, cars, and fun...but they discovered that they loved the music more.....well not really a meaning, but the consumption by lust makes sense, not quite in moderation...though i think that it's more of he doesn't "desire" it (fill in this as X) but he cannot stop for there is nothing else, thus "i am cold" (Y) so, he is forced to do X but hates it and knows Y will happen, downward spiral....check the music video out too, flake is the odd one out in everything, he arrives late, is skinny and is left behind, not to mention he didn't wanna be in the band...aheh...
