I ran into your best friend today
Twelve nights since you ran away
I asked about you and she said, can't say, can't say
I'm feeling lonely and it seems to stay
It's been a while since I felt that way
Well, I can tell you there's no room to play this game

All I know is what I'm missing
What I'm missing is your kissing
Are you listening?

Don't go, don't go telling me you're all right
There's no room for getting uptight
Don't go saying that you're okay
When you're lonely
Baby, don't go telling me we're over
When you know you're my one and only lover
And I won't go saying that we're okay when we're
Lost without each other
'Cause we're lost without each other
'Cause we're lost without each other

I didn't mean to start the last big fight
You never should have hung up that night
All I want to do is make things right
Make it right
Listen, with all the choices that we chose to make
And all the promises we chose to break
We were busy making big mistakes yesterday

All I know is what I'm missing
What I'm missing is your kissing
Are you listening?

Don't go, don't go telling me you're all right
There's no room for getting uptight
Don't go saying that you're okay
When you're lonely
Baby, don't go telling me we're over
When you know you're my one and only lover
And I won't go saying that we're okay when we're
Lost without

I can tell you one thing
We're not better on our own
I'm tired of running from my feelings
Are you listening?

All I know is what I'm missing
What I'm missing is your kissing
Are you listening?

Don't go, don't go telling me you're all right
There's no room for getting uptight
Don't go saying that you're okay
When you're lonely
Baby, don't go telling me we're over
When you know you're my one and only lover
And I won't go saying that we're okay when we're
Lost without each other
Lost without each other

I can't believe no one has posted anything on this song. This is one of my favorite Hanson songs. They preformed this and the crowd went crazy, it was a great concert. Also you should watch the video, It very well but together. I wish this single had gained more popularity. cause when I play this song for my non Hanson friends, the get more respect as being great musicans.

I'm crazy about this song. If it doesn't make you pogo and/or harmonize you have no soul.

Damn Hanson, seriously. This song always gets in my head but I do quite like this song. They are becoming more credible now that their 'Mmmbop' days are behind them. Saying that though, they still are very pop and annoy me sometimes.

lyrics great.. this is such an awesome song, the lyrics are sad and about wanting someone back, but it's so sort of upbeat it brings it all back, and me i'm fed up of sad soppy missing someone songs, this is just what i needed, and hanson are back! result!

the great thing about this song is that its not like one of those sappy sad and slow love songs its just kind of you cant deny what you are feeling the relationship is broken at the moment but it is really meant to be.

this song is such an addictive song. especially the chorus !! and its so realistic! like the whole 'ARE YOU LISTENING?' part. and i agree with butt_dance_x2 :D its not sappy but it sill conveys what you feel like when your relationship is breaking up^^ hanson has been getting better and better. i rekon the mv could have been like a mini movie rather than them just singing. cos then it would have been the BEST.

This is probably one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time, and right now The Transplants are playing on my cd player. That should let you know how good this song is.

This song is a freakin' persuasive essay! LOL. "Sorry I'm such a jerk, please tell her to come back to me."

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
