On a holday slow-motion sets its paceAnd it makes me pray for capricorn's sweet face
Our lives get tangled up in progress
Falling short on life's test
When all that matters should be me and you

And you say it's not OK
Despite our life, you cannot stay
And you say you're not OK
Romance post-marked holiday

Well, I can't explain how we made it this far
And you should know, only you control my heart
Feelings overshadow reason, blocks out everything
And all that amtters should be me and you

I wouldn't trade what I got
Not for anything

Excellent song to release with the new album, Jim Ward finally realizes the only way he will get to the heights he did with ATDI is by doing the opposite of Mars Volta, which is release something that isn't space rock.

excuse me? mars volta is one of the best, most original, most amazing bands to emerge for an extreeemely long time. sparta are good as well but the two just dont compare im sorry.

i saw sparta during the incubus tour and i was entranced by this song...the melody is very unique in a way. but the lyrics seem very unoriginal

Im not too sure what this song is about but Im thinking its about how he doesnt have enough time with his wife becuase of touring or something. I dont know, its just a guess...here is my proof "when all that matters should be me and you" - now that they are married it should just be the 2 of them but Jims other love is there which is Sparta "despite our life you cannot say, and you say your not ok" - she doesnt admit she doesnt like him gone alot maybe....i really dont know, only Jim knows becuase they are his emotions.

And I think this song is probably about not believing in yourself enogh to love someone. Or to be loved.

I don't know. That's what it means to me.

i like atdi and mars volta and spartas first cd was good. this song and the new cd are good but sparta seems to be drifting towards the taking back sunday, thursday and all those "emo" bands. sparta is just starting to sound like all the rest.

Man,sorry butmost of yall are way off - not only does Sparta have one of the most distinct sounds out there - perhaps you havnt heard the entire album - but the live performance they throw is awesome.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
