Something isn't right
I can feel it again, feel it again
This isn't the first time
That you left me waiting

Sad excuses and false hopes high
I saw this coming still
I don't know why I let you in

I knew it all along
You're so predictable
I knew something would go wrong
(something's always wrong)

So you don't have to call
Or say anything at all
You're so predictable
(so predictable)

So take your empty words,
Your broken promises
And all the time you stole cause
I am done with this

I can give it away, give it away
I'm doing everything I should've
And now I'm making the change
I'm living the day

I'm giving back what you gave me
I don't need anything

I knew it all along
You're so predictable
I knew something would go wrong
(something's going wrong)

So you don't have to call
Or say anything at all
You're so predictable
(so predictable)

Everywhere I go, everyone I meet
Everytime I try to fall in love
They all want to know why I'm so broken
Why am I so cold?

Why I'm so hard inside?
Why am I scared? what am I afraid of?
I don't even know
This story never had an end

I've been waiting, I've been searching
I've been hoping
I've been dreaming you would come back
But I know the ending of this story
You are never coming back, never, never....

I knew it all along
You're so predictable
I knew something would go wrong
(something's always wrong)

So you don't have to call,
Or say anything at all.
You're so predictable
(so predictable)

Everywhere I go for the rest of my life
Everyone I love everyone I care about
(so predictable)

You all want to know what's wrong with me
But I know what it is (so predictable)
I'm ending this right now

Insane. I cannot stand the new album, and I don't particularly like most of the first two albums in regards to lyrics and that, but this song is really good. This is so obvious, what the song is about. It's about being Joel and girls. And in the same context, it could be just that it's about being a rockstar and trying to fall in love. Whatever, it's really about how now that he wants to find someone who he can be really in love with, the only thing he can really get is that kind of feeling he had with her. And she got tired, obviously, and kept him waiting all the time because she never really wanted to be with him. It could be about a girl Joel really liked and just wanted her to be his forever but she used him and didn't even feel the way he did, so she just kept repeating her mistakes in hopes he'd get tired and leave her, although since Joel is so emo (yeah right) he saw through her mistakes. And now that she's gone he just wants her to know what he did to her in a song that will make him an even bigger millionaire so he can buy more three thousand dollar watches. Anyway, excuse the sarcasm, it's a good song, an intolerable album, and all-in-all pretty decent lyrics. Peace out poseurs. I love you all.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
