I Luv the Valley OH! Lyrics
That's a pill and you've got to take it
That's a pill that you've got to take
I won't rest until you take it
That's a heart that you made
That's a heart and the both of you made it
And I won't rest until I break it
It’s l'histoire de le famile
It’s l'histoire de le fam
And I won't rest until I forget about it
I won't rest until I don't care
I won't rest until I forget about it
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
That's a razor and you will make a threat
That's a razor make a million billion threats
And I won't rest 'cause I heard it all before
My behind is a beehive, there's a buzz in my backside
My behind is a beehive, and I won't rest
while you break my will
Je t’aime the valley
Je t’aime the valley, OH!
I am an orphan de la valley
And I won’t rest until I forget about it
I won’t rest until I don’t care
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
That's a pill that you've got to take
I won't rest until you take it
That's a heart that you made
That's a heart and the both of you made it
And I won't rest until I break it
It’s l'histoire de le famile
It’s l'histoire de le fam
And I won't rest until I forget about it
I won't rest until I don't care
I won't rest until I forget about it
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
That's a razor and you will make a threat
That's a razor make a million billion threats
And I won't rest 'cause I heard it all before
My behind is a beehive, there's a buzz in my backside
My behind is a beehive, and I won't rest

Je t’aime the valley
Je t’aime the valley, OH!
I am an orphan de la valley
And I won’t rest until I forget about it
I won’t rest until I don’t care
La, la, la, la, la, la, la

I think that this is the most depressing song on Fabulous Muscles.
I believe this is about how suicide runs in his family.
"That's a pill and you've got to take it" The person tries to kill themselves over and over.
"I won't rest until you take it " I believe that, instead of the singer wanting the person to kill themselves, that they instead realize how much they care. They don't want this person to die, but they realize cynically that they won't be able to rest until that person dies.
"It’s ‘histroic de la famile" should be " It's l'histoire de la famile" The singer is saying "it's the history of the family", in that people in his family kill themselves, or at least attempt to kill themselves often.
"And I won't rest until I forget about it I won't rest until I don't care " The singer still cares, but it's ripping him up inside. He doesn't think that he can stop it, but regardless, he still loves these people. He can't rest until he stops caring about them (which he realizes won't happen).
"La la la la la la la la la" Picture the singer in a corner, eyes closed tightly, hands over his ears, shouting this out, and by this, shutting out the world.
"That's a razor and you will make a threat That's a razor make million billion threats" The person threatens to kill themselves, over and over.
"My behind is a beehive, there's a buzz in my backside My behind is a beehive and I won't rest " I'm not entirely sure about this line. I imagine that the singer's been up for hours (the buzz from sitting down for a long time) trying to make this person happy.
"while you break my will" The singer is battered by all of these threats, and he is trying to hold in, but it gets harder and harder for him to do so.
"Je t’aime the valley OH!!! " The valley is this person's home. I love my home. He says this in a sarcastic, almost desperate tone.
"I am an orphan de la valley" Shift ahead in time, and he now an orphan, but he still can't forget about everyone. It is driving him crazy.
La la la la la la la la la
@Drealoth I like your interpretation! I love what it would mean. I understand and love "I Luv the Valley, OH!" much more than I thought possible now, it's so raw yet complex!!! I forgot how Stewart uses humor (sarcasm), and wordplay in lyrics most of the time. Lastly, I think the line:

could means he's a "Busy Bee." As in he's a Busy Bee: someone without time to do anything because they are busy. I believe here he's expressing how he is "busy" obsessively thinking about suicide. The "I won't rest" is about himself worrying about all of it the death/suicide and his life. This is indicated by Stewart using this phrasing a lot throughout the song.
The line:
"I am an orphan de la valley". ("de la" means "of the" in French)
could mean he's someone from the valley like that's his family history (parents/home) and heritage is the Valley now. Like it is declared by him. He is an "orphan of the valley" not his "blood family/origins," so to speak. I think so because orphan means: a child deprived by death of one or usually both parents. Or, one deprived of some protection or advantage. I think the Valley is his self-declared and proclaimed origin, and the way he states this makes it sound like he's happy and proud to be, and won't rest until it is known in stone! this line comes after him screaming "I Love the Valley, OH!" which means he is simply doubling down with " "I am an orphan de la valley" and "I won't rest while you break my will" Is Stewart expressing how strong the emotions around this new found home are. The valley is a place that accepts and loves him,, and is where he belongs, it's everything that he "Luvs" loyally and proudly.

Dysfunctional family. Depression. Growing past this.
this is one of my favourite songs of all time.
this is just catchy and depressing at the same time, everything xiu xiu does is just amazing
uh, "troic" doesn't mean pertaining to Troy.
I was just thinking about this. I think that 'the valley' is representative of depression. I am an orphan to depression; depression killed his family.
the histroc thing is french and is "it's the l'histoire de la family" which is a kind of franglais (loose english french mix) for "the the family history/story."
To me this song is about a breakup. Every time I hear it, i find a way to equate it to my life.
"That's a pill and you've got to take it. That's a pill that you've got to take" In this sentence, i find pill to be a metaphor for pride. and like a pill, he's telling his partner to swallow his/her pride.
"I won't rest until you take it" He won't be satisfied until they swallow their pride
"That's a heart that you made. That's a heart and the both of you made it. And I won't rest until I break it" The person made jamie love him/her. He's so angry all he wants to do is break the love.
"Its histroic de la famile. Its lhistroic de la FAM" the history of the family (and his history (maybe his mother/etc)) is to be too eager to love and get hurt.
"And I won't rest until I forget about it. I won't rest until I don't care. I won't rest until I forget about it. La La La La La La La"
heartbroken. he wants to forgets. he's frustrated, scared, upset, disappointed. basically feeling every emotion possible by this break up and he's reluctant to hear the other side of the argument from his partner (lalalalalala).
"That's a razor and you will make a threat. That's a razor make million billion threats. And I won't rest cuz I heard it all before" his partner is threatening to leave him. the razor could be a metaphorical knife that comes to play in the next line.
"My behind is a beehive, there's a buzz in my backside. My behind is a beehive and I won't rest while you break my will" In this line. i believe jamie stewart is saying that his partner "stabbed him in the back." that's the buzzing feeling. and by saying his back is a beehive he is basically suggesting that he feels like he is a target for getting stabbed in the back by loved ones.
"Je taime the valley. Je taime the valley OH!!! I am an orphan de la valley" I believe in this line jamie is using the valley as being in the low and heartbroken situation he is currently in from the breakup. He is attempting, nonsensically and with pride and spite, to say that he love being . kinda a "take that" to his ex. the orphan line suggests that nasty breakups like this are common so he is trying to not be phased by it. however he is failing miserably and letting his pride engulf him as to not feel bad about the whole breakup.
whether the breakup was cheating, i am not sure, but it is pretty clear that it wasn't mutual. This is my spin folks. i hope it like it. every time i hear it, i empathize and it only get more powerful.
i'd like to think the valley he's talking about is where he's from (san jose, california thereabouts). and that valley represents lots of things (home, hurt, history etc)
jamie used to be in a band called IBOPA--the indestructible beat of palo alto--and palo alto is a town incidentally in the santa clara valley. i dunno. i'd probably have to ask him what valley he's actually referring to... love this song! especially that visceral "OH!"
