I always liked the line about "You can't tell the difference..." --I'm sure this isn't what it's about, but it makes me think of the people that are constantly changing themselves to mold to a particular image; Or those who want to be forever in the first stages of love, like serial daters.

i love the guitar riff in the beginning...it just pumps me up.
This song is about someone who is killing themselves metaphorically (hence the reference to smoking). I think the third line is saying that if you keep going in this direction you'll end up in a body bag with a tag on your toe, and you'll jerk awake when your time comes because you didn't even see it coming. This goes along with this album's theme of different people who are greedy, have no integrity, are two-faced, etc.
i agree with cowboyupinblue this is the same interpretation i got when i listened to the song it reminds me of my friends smoking and sort of comforts me to the fact that i dont smoke too

Why the Last Dragon reference? Anybody get that? When I got the album I was reading the songlist thinkin "huh? they covered THAT?? weeeird!" But it doesnt even have anything to do with the movie. Just a serious and sad song with a title from a cheesy eighties film.
Nevrmind, I guess a lot of their songs even the band name are references to movies. huh.
