Intergalactic Menopause Lyrics
When we rolled into town
Pulling up to the drive-in
There was no one around
We were the only ones to be found
They were soaring through the sky
We were left on the ground
The dog is catching caramel corn
I never wanted a change
Brushing teeth and combing hair
I guess they do this everywhere
I never wanted a change
I guess it's time for a change

they didn't play it in ny.. i heard that they played it at like two shows during the braid tour and i thought i would hear it... an amazing show either way. i was happy to hear "desert's on fire"..i love this band way too much. it must be unhealthy.

When i saw them in Chicago at the Metro, before they played this song he said "Here's a song about being abducted by Aliens". That may not be verbatim. Anyway, it makes sense. I just wonder what the change part is about? Almost seems like an alien getting acclimated to normal human life.
I'm guessing that even if you already believe in the existence of life outside this planet, once you're abducted, or once it's actually been confirmed with your own eyes, you'll probably reassess just about everything you've been taught and come to accept about life as you know it.

Probably my favorite MBD song. You have not lived until you've seen it live, which is rare. They played this for the first time in three years at the Braid show in Detroit, and I believe also at the Chicago show the night before. Quite an experience.

So chill. Reminds me of my girlfriend. Which is bad I guess, if you look at the lyrics.

I saw them a few months ago. Murder by Death is fucking amazing live. If you ever get the chance, even if you have to sell family members or body parts, by all means. do it!

i agree.. when they played canyon inn, i just went numb

Wierd, they were Little Joe Gould forever and no one cared, I was lucky enough to be at the 2nd Story show when they announced their name change, or so I was told, don\'t remember. Good stuff though and yeah this song is awsome.

I kind of wish they would have kept the name Little Joe Gould. It's wonderful. If I'm not mistaken, it comes from a poem by e.e. Cummings. Great poem, too.
All well, Murder by Death is good as well.
