Dogs Of Lust Lyrics
Here they come
The dogs of lust
Out of my mind
Into my life
Somebody should be here to hold me
Somebody should be here to show me, show me
When you're lustful
When you're lonely
And the heat is rising slowly
I got it blue
I got it bad
I got the sweetest sadness I ever had
As the hours pass before my eyes
As the hours pass before me
When you're lustful
When you're lonely
And the heat is rising slowly
I keep reaching up
But they drag me back down
Wherever I try to hide
I will always be found
When you're lustful
When you're lonely
And the heat is rising slowly
Rising rising rising slowly
Rising rising rising
Rising rising slowly
The dogs of lust
Out of my mind
Into my life
Somebody should be here to hold me
Somebody should be here to show me, show me
When you're lonely
And the heat is rising slowly
I got it bad
I got the sweetest sadness I ever had
As the hours pass before my eyes
As the hours pass before me
When you're lonely
And the heat is rising slowly
But they drag me back down
Wherever I try to hide
I will always be found
When you're lonely
And the heat is rising slowly
Rising rising rising
Rising rising slowly

This is one of the sexiest songs I've ever heard! Something about the combination of his low, growling voice, the rhythmic, humping beat of the music and the suggestive subject matter (feeling really horny and not having anyone to take it out on) really does it for me!
Masturbation, barely controlled, no one else to help alleviate the lustful desires. The 3rd verse is an oddity to me: is that his penis reciting the lines or is he saying that he'd rather be masturbating because he can't perform with others? Yes, perhaps that's it. It would explain his sweetest sadness: wanting to get it on with someone other than himself but knowing that he couldn't even if given the chance.
Hot. I read the third verse as a continual personal struggle--like he wants to pull himself out of a life of lust and loneliness, but the "dogs of lust" (his id?) keep dragging him back down to his baser desires.
The last verse to me seems to describe the way he is so horny & with no outlet for it that he can't get his mind on any other topic. 'Wherever he tries to hide' i.e. mentally in his thoughts - his lustful yearnings will seek him out & get his mind back on emptying his sack. The wicked harmonica riff seems to convey his agitation & frustration at his curent plight.
