A lot of the themes in these EPs was about death (that is, "Just Visiting (Life)").

I think this is similarly themed. They followed what their eyes laid before them in life, but as their time grew closer to death (or matured) they realised that there was more to life (and death).

So now they feed on these new experiences or enlightenment, instead of follow what is simply in front of them.
