At first glance this song looks dirty, I like to think of it in the sense of the brain (and possible drugs, but I don't think so.) this is all a long shot though.

[this is where I question my brain theory, as this sounds a lot like escapism into narcotics, read on into the "Soma" section.]

Horizon lines I know too well [Tears? Boundries? The Axon of the Soma in Neuron Cells which transfer information?]

Soma, Soma [A Soma is the body of the neurons in the brain, it also refers to a body, it also refers to the drug in Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World"] Running, Running Down [My theory? Soma is memory, and then the "running, running down part is referring to tears from the memories.] Soma, Soma Running, Running Down (Horizon lines I know too well) [this valididates a lot of my above theory] (2x)

yeah idk i think you made it way to complicated we all know hes been through some real tough relationships i think this song is just about how he has no trust anymore in his relationships and how he is always on edge...like he feels like he's doin something wrong

But whatever. Sex can be a manic extreme. Manic is not just for an extreme down, but also an extreme up... such as... orgasm.

i think it's talking about being in God's Presence. Project 86 IS a Christian band, after all, so the crowd shouldn't gasp as much in this explanation of the song. i can see where you're coming from, though, in saying sex.

i don't know, i've experienced God for real and i know how awesome He is and this pretty much sums it up. all fears, pain and will to leave just kinda slips away. it's kind of a hard concept to explain, it's one of those "you have to see (or feel in this case) it to believe it" actually, you COULD believe it right off the bat WITHOUT seeing or feeling it. that's what faith is... (Hebrews 11:1)

idk andrew schwab alone could tell me i'm right or wrong and i could be totally off, but that's just my idea of what the song means.

Hey guys, I asked Schwab about this at the show last night. I asked, is this song about sex? Cause that's what it sounds like. He said, haha no, it's about the euphoria of being on stage at a show. I guess the show is the "sonic revelry" and tour life is the "melancholy sadness and manic extreme." Maybe the circuitry being the sound system?
