The greatest meaning I could pull out of this---Mama's Rhubarb pie is really good!!! No, I'm just kidding. Maybe politicians are sour. Although that's quite a generalization, maybe... Ha ha ha... I love trying to pull meaning out of meaningless songs.
It's a fantastic song, but I really DO think the whole point is that rhubarb pie kicks ass and everyone just needs a bit of pie to be happy... YAY!
