it's like we can do this today but will we remeber when tomorrow what we've done? Will you stay for me?

all i know is that this song is good...and i like it :-D bbwell laterz! ~Nana~

This song, to me, has two possible meanings.

One: the song is basically about a relationship between two people who love each other - or did/thought they did. The girl obviously is sad about what's going on in the relationship, feels it's superficial, and the guy is trying to cheer her up and make her feel better; but, his efforts are in vain as the lines, "Afraid and out of reasons/To fight the way she’s feeling/She breaks down (breaks down)" notes.
Basically, the guy doesn't want the relationship to fall apart and (I think) the girl is willing to forgive him should he remember what he's done and never do it again (thus, love her tomorrow and everyday thereafter).

Two: the song is about a girl's relationship with God. She's the one at fault for something (sin) and realizes it. She feels that she's a poser, and is insincere in her relationship with God ("Its killing me/Thinking what has happened/To live the life like that, man/I break down/It’s fake now"). She wishes God would change ("Its killing me/Wishing you can change/But he’s always been the same") but, knows he won't and that if she chooses to leave God she'll lose herself/soul ("If you leave now/I’ll drown").

In this case, God has forgiven her, and is asking if she'll still love him and stay strong in her convictions. But, like example one, she must remember what she's done and learn from it.

Regardless of the true meaning, the song is pretty dern good. It's much better for me through meaning no.2, but that's due to my own beliefs. :)

But, whatever...

i think-this is probably a horrible guess- that this man loves a girl who already lost a love,and has or can move on but she's still stuck- and the man and loves her and the girl he loves probably belong together,and he feels horrible for her,and he wonders if she would be happier with her lost love,and would probably if he could giver her back her love - but at the same time he's selfish and wants her for him.

and the whole,"will you,will you remember" is like will you realize that i'll be here? do even realize it now?do you realize we're meant?

I really love this song. Since the first time i saw it. I dont really know what its about but i love it.

This song is awesome. I agree with mcbx02's interpitation...because, in the music video, that's what happens. I relate it differently because of some situations in my life. But, it doesn't really matter how you interpet it, it's just a damn good song.

I think it is about rape, when i first heard it i thought it was about a guy and a girl breaking up, but when you watch the video the meaning of rape seems alot clearer. Great song though =]

The video would suggest that it isn't purely about rape. More like sexual relationships where they are not ready to be sexual. Perhaps where the guy says he loves the girl just to get her into bed, hence the line, "Will you love me tomorrow?"

In the video, a couple goes onto the bathroom and the guy supposedly fingers the girl and just leaves, leaving the girl sitting there regretting it.

The video appears to also touch on the topic of alcoholism. So perhaps, to generalise, it is about things that affect relationships between people and the torment that they go through inside.

I agree 100% with alshin i think the song is about someones relationship with God. This isnt just because of my own beliefs but because of P.O.D's beliefs as well.
