If you can see yourself looking like you do
What would you say you were thinkin'?
Spending all your time looking for something new
You better swim cause your sinkin'

Go ask your mother cause she knows what you need
Left your heart open, I'm just helping it bleed

Sign you up for every program in the book
No, you don't need invitations
No one's questioning your problem or your look
It's just your public relations

Won't just ask me because I know what you need
Leavin' your heart open cause it needs time to bleed

I'll still be here, when you get here
I'll still be, I'll still be here

Yesterday I read a letter from an editor that tells me what he thinks
How all this music is boring
Concentrating on how much this really stinks
It's not my fault if you're snoring

Go ask your mother cause she knows what you need
Left your open cause it needs time to bleed

I'll still be here, when you get here
I'll still be, I'll still be here

So across the Atlantic doesn't sound that romantic
Since everyone has done it, so it's dumb
I'd like to say I'm sorry for intruding
But I'm sick of your eluding
To the fact that growing up is growing old

Just say that you'll be here
Just say that you'll be here
That was so close

i cant believe no one has commented on this song yet!! it is my fave by reggie.

i think its about waking people up to think for themselves and simply be actively thinking and living... that may even mean hurting them --'your heart needs time to bleed' also = wake up and experience things also

best phrase, in this song and perhaps ever: I'd like to say I'm sorry for intruding But I'm sick of your eluding To the fact that growing up is growing numb

(note- yes the above lyrics are wrong. it is growing numb not old. ill fix them if they get servers running.. or someone else can.. whatever)

enjoy being a teenager, it will never happen again that you have this much freedom and so little worries.

this song is about someone having to move away from their partner

Sign you up for every program in the book No, you don't need invitations No one's questioning your problem or your look It's just your public relations

thats about keeping yourself distracted in the new country (across the atlantic) and trying to fit in prehaps.

but the singer hopes they will come back I'll still be here, when you get here I'll still be, I'll still be here

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
