i think the meaning of this song is pretty self-explanitory... she was in love with someone in high school, but the person went away to college and she just can't get over him and wants him back...

I love this song so much-- even after all the times I've heard it-- I never get sick of it. My friend and I already loved this song so much already. And then we heard it when we were in a really beautiful place far away from home. We both started crying. Now she moved away b/c she joined the airforce. And I still cry once in a while when I hear it. She is my best friend-- and this song takes me right back to when we hung out.

There are only a handful of songs that really pull emotion from me, this is one of them. When you lose someone that means so much to you, whether through a break up, death or whatever, this sums up exactly how you feel. This is one of the songs I would request to be played at my funeral, a morbid thought I know, but this song is just so special to me.

This song is amazing. One of those that I could listen to forever and never get sick of. It's one of my all-time favorites. Fairly easy to interpret, her high school boyfriend went off to College and she wants him back but can't tell him that because she doesn't want to trouble him with her pain. She's scared that when he comes back he won't love her anymore.
