I was close, I was so close
To everything that I could want
Now I'm cold, now I'm so cold
Everything I had is gone

Holding on to suffering, won't release my pain
Circumstances follow me, no one left to blame

Finding comfort in the fray
The truth inside the lies
Finding solace in the gray
There is no black and white
All the colors seem to fade
Moving further from the light
Finding comfort in the fray

You were gone in an instant
It all just got away from me
Couldn't find what I'm missing
But now I find it hard to breathe

Holding on to suffering, won't release my pain
Circumstances follow me, no one left to blame

Finding comfort in the fray
The truth inside the lies
Finding solace in the gray
There is no black and white
All the colors seem to fade
Moving further from the light
Finding comfort in the fray

Monsters in your sleep
The secrets that you keep
The choices that you make
Still there when you're awake

Finding comfort in the fray
Finding comfort in the fray
The truth inside the lies
Finding solace in the gray
There is no black and white
All the colors seem to fade
Moving further from the light

Finding comfort in the fray

it's aimed at society, how people just go through life blindly accepting whatever they're told by their "wonderful" leaders, parents, teachers, etc.

"You're too busy with the lies they sold you Another cure to fix your day Open wide for all the shit they feed you While the TV defecates And blindly walk wherever they will lead you While the edges slowly fray "

and how there are they few who rise up, say 'fuck this', yet nobody listens to them, they just keep following

"You wouldn't listen even if i told you Who the fuck am i to say?"

Lyrically speaking, it reminds me of Offspring's Staring at the Sun.
