Pack up
I'm straight
Enough

Oh say, say, say
Oh say, say, say
Oh say, say, say
Oh say, say, say
Oh say, say, say

Wait, they don't love you like I love you
Wait, they don't love you like I love you
Maps
Wait, they don't love you like I love you

Made off
Don't stray
Well, my kind's your kind
I'll stay the same
Pack up
Don't stray

Oh say, say, say
Oh say, say, say

Wait, they don't love you like I love you
Wait, they don't love you like I love you
Maps
Wait, they don't love you like I love you

Wait, they don't love you like I love you
Maps
Wait, they don't love you like I love you

Wait, they don't love you like I love you
Wait, they don't love you like I love you
Maps
Wait, they don't love you like I love you

Wait, they don't love you like I love you
Maps
Wait, they don't love you like I love you

Here's how the "gay" interpretation of this song works: "Pack up I'm straight" Is her telling him to go because he's gay and she's not, and probably cheated on her with another man. "I'm not I'm say say say..............." Is him replying that he's not straight....I'm not sure why he would say, "I'm say say say" though... "Wait they don't love you like I love you" Is her replying to him before he leaves that even though everything that's happened, she still loves him more than any person the guy has had in the past... "Made off Don't stray" Is her saying that he got away with cheating on her and she's sarcasticly telling him not go lost when he leaves... "Well my kinds your kind I'll stay the same" Is him replying to her that his kind (meaning what he likes (men)) is what she likes too, which is also men, because she is straight. Basicly the "kind" that he likes is men, and he's not changing that just for her... "Pack up Don't stray" Basicly the same as before, is her telling him to go and not get lost in a sarcastic tone after he has said what he has to say... "Wait they don't love you like I love you" This just repeats to show, that no matter how much and how sudden you may want a person out of your life, you'll still love them and you'll probably regret kicking them out of your life. Wich is basicly what she's doing. She's telling him to go, yet stopping him at the door, because she's not sure of what she's about to do, or letting him go despite everything.... Ehhhhh, that's just how that goes....

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
