Past And Gone

How fast has it all gone by now?
How slow do I want it to go?
Now that it's all said and done with,
I wish i could turn back it all.
How easy it was to ignore.
How hard it is to let go.
To know it wouldn’t last forever.
To forget the last words you spoke.
Its past and gone now,
I watched it moving and pushed it away.
It won’t come back now,
I watched it flying and looked straight away.
I wish I could bring it back.
I wish I knew how to stop its tracks.
But I know now I understand,
Don’t be foolish grab it by its hands.
Nothing can bring it back now.
It’s so damn hard to let go.
I’ll glance back to see in my rearview,
Just to have only one more look.
