This is an Awsome song. But I can honestly say I have no idea what it's about. But possibly some kind of bad relasionship???
she made a mistake and he won't let her live it down because he just loves to instigate conflict. he also lies to her and then claims that he never does any of this so she just kind of feels defeated and decides its not worth it anymore.
i also like that little chunk of wordplay about turning molehills into mountains and crying over spilled milk.
i think the first verse may actually describe an abusive relationship, but how the abused take the opinion they were wrong. and she's realising what a creep he is
